This was written a week back but didn’t publish.
NOTE: This is Virat's bezatti for the first time! I am so pissed off at the moment that I want Sai to leave that house and file a case against everyone including Virat as accused no:1. But that ain't happening, so this is my way of bezzattifying him.
Premise: Pakhi is 'apparently' carrying Virat's and Sai's child. Everyone is overjoyed with this news especially BK. Sai was trying hard to expose Pakhi, but the fact that her child is inside Pakhi's womb is preventing her from going full throttle. Most of the times she shows her disappointment at the fate on Virat, rightly so.
Sai stopped going to the hospital with Virat. She started to eat separately and placed pillow fort between them passing the message that only Virat understands. Dejected and keeping his hopes alive for her to forgive him, he started to day dream about their child whenever he doesnt think about how to woo his wife.
On the other hand, Pakhi started planning her moves to make Virat circle around her with his child as an excuse.
There was a 2 week appointment after 'apparent' implantation which Pakhi proclaimed that she tested with pregnancy test kit.
"Pakhi didi, can you show me the test kit?", Sai demaned.
"I didnt save my pregnancy kit Sai.", Pakhi declared to eagerly looking Virat. "I dont have a loving husband like you to save the test kit for life", she sobbed.
"Saiii! Dont stress Pakhi. If she is sad, the baby will be sad", immediately indulged Virat to which Sai looked annoyed and scoffed off to leave for hospital. Seeing her leave like that Virat followed her begging her to allow him to drop her.
"Viraaatttt", screamed Pakhi from behind. "can you take me to the appointment?", called Pakhi urgently thinking that she could go alone with Virat.
"Ofcourse Pakhi", immediately rushed Virat back to take her to the hospital not before convincing Sai to join them as she is the doctor and mother. Sai obliged and took the back seat to Virat's surprise.
Pakhi took the opportunity and slipped into the passenger seat next to Virat. Virat was constantly eying his wife from the front mirror which was replied with angry glares.
Sai and Virat took Pakhi to the doctor, while all along the walk Pakhi feigned dizzyness and holding Virat's hand. Sai ignored Virat's pleas to come and hold her!
"Viraaattt, I cannot walk anymore", pakhi gasped rasing her hands towards him. Virat was horrified at what she is doing but the wheelchair near by came into the rescue before Pakhi fell on him. Sai was rolling her eyes and observing Pakhi more and more.
In the doctor's office, Pakhi complained about every symptom on the earth and the doctor replied to her saying "that it is quite possible as every pregnancy is different.". While Virat was eagerly awaiting for any ultrasound and reminded the doctor for the same, Pakhi panicked for a bit but later recovered when the doctor said she will check next time when they could see the feotus better. Pakhi mentally noted that Sai and Virat should never come with her for an ultrasound. And that she has to move her pawns soon to separate them. While she started to discuss more details of her health, Virat excused himself to give her the privacy much to Pakhi's disappointment.
The doctor asked Sai to be more connected to the surrogate mother and try to form a bond with her to which Sai replied that the surrogate mother is well connected to the father of the child.
When Pakhi and Sai came out, Pakhi excused herself and rushed into doctor's cabin with pen and paper.
"Doctor, what are things I can crave for?", Pakhi asked to the surprised face of the doctor, after which she corrected her statement "I mean what are the usually cravings?"
"It can be anything! you can crave for an exotic fruit, icecreams typically choclate, sour things like tamarind and mango, and even more sex. Depends on your harmones.", she clarified to the eager student who was writing down everything in her book.
From the next day Pakhi started her cravings...
She wanted to take revenge on BK for badmouthing earlier so she asked BK everyone hour to prepare meals for her, complaining that Ashwini's cooking is making her puke.
BK gladly took the cooking duty for the sake of her chirag, though her knees started to give away a bit every day.
One such evening, when Sai came back from hospital and faced the CN crowd, everyone surrounding the chirag bearer, Pakhi purposefully screamed.
"Viraaatt, my leg! can you get the pillow and place it here.", she squealed in agony.
"What happened pakhi?" panicked Virat rushing to bring the softest pillow. He yanked the pillow from Omi's back making him slump hard on the wooden chair and placed it next to her.
"Patralekha! you are barely a month pregnant, how come you have back pain?" BK asked little worried.
"Woh badi mami, I just dont know I was feeling numb", Pakhi blabbered some nonsense.
"Pakhi didi, instead of sitting like this, please walk for a while. I dont like my child to suffer with a lazy womb like this", Sai suggested.
"OK! Viraaat, lets go for the walk", Pakhi held her hand up to Virat. Virat glanced at Sai and when he didnt get any response, took Pakhi's hand and held Sai's hand with other one.
"Sai, I always wanted to go for walks with you when you are pregnant. Let's walk together", he said pulling her closer.
"I dont want to come to walk if you are going Virat", Sai declared giving him a deriding look.
Hurt but not wanting to argue with his wife, Virat said
"Pakhi, I want my child to have a walk. I want you to go with Sai and Karishma", he said and left from there.
Sai pulled hesitating Pakhi out of the house and forced her to walk for half an hour, demanding her that she needs to do it everyday.
Pakhi is growing desperate whenever she sees Virat still heeding to Sai and trying to please his wife.
"Buckle up Pakhi!", she cheered herself.
That night, she screamed again making everyone rush to her room.
"Badi mami! I got acidity. OMG", she wallowed.
Virat was asking exactly where she was having pain, and looking at Sai to do something. "Will my child swallow the acid?!" he kept on blabbering.
"Pakhi didi, why dont you stop eating all the junk and follow some healthy diet. I have seen you eating all the day! I will make a diet plan for you ", she said and not stopping "I will give the plan to Virat sir so he will make sure you will eat right", she said to an enthusiastic Virat.
From the next day, Virat was following the diet and exercise schedule to the T forcing her to eat healthy. Pakhi had to eat mostly raw veggies and fruits which she hated.
Like that 4 months passed and Pakhi overheard BK and Ashwini talking secretly in the kitchen.
"Ashwini, this Patralekha is eating away everything on the earth, but only growing sideways. There is no indication that her stomach is growing! I am so worried now. I have to save these knees for my chirag so I can play with him, but this Patralekha is not leaving a stone unturned to get me a wheel chair. I am going to take her to the doctor and see with my own eyes that my chirag is safe and growing", she lamented to agreeing Ashwini. "Ho Vahini. I have seen her cheating on Sai's diet plan the other day. If Virat knows this, he will stop going to work and start feeding her with his own hands. Already his over protectiveness is causing friction in Sai and his married life.", Ashwini said wiping her tears.
Pakhi is now panicked and wanted to up her game and split Sai, now that there is gap again between them.
That night she went to SaiRat's room and peeped into it as usual.
Virat was trying to cuddle with Sai and arguing over the pillow wall, with her.
"Sai, I am so happy that our baby is coming that I could not contain my joy. I want to share this with you by making some love to you, but you are behaving touch me not. This is not fair", he complained again pulling her into him.
Sai felt bad for his plight but she was still pissed off at his choice, so she glared back. But his puppy face made her melt and she was also craving his touch so she succumbed before Pakhi banged the door.
Virat rushed to open it to see Pakhi there. "Pakhi, what happened?", he asked looking at her stomach and not looking up to see her face also.
Pakhi was pissed but she is not in mood to concentrate on every detail of virat's attention.
"Virraaatt! I am craving icecream." she said to which Sai replied.
"Pakhi didi, there is ice cream in the fridge, I will get it", sai said and started to leave.
"no Sai I wanted a particular flavor. Black currant", she said making faces already imagining its weird taste.
"Oh, that is not there. Usually normal people crave choclate", Sai said quoting the word normal.
"Sai! Please..", Virat stopped her accusingly. "My baby is making her crave for black currant. I will get it even if it is on the moon", proclaimed Virat.
"OK touch me next time!", Sai clentched her fists and murmured to his retreating back.
"pakhi didi! please go and rest. I will come and give you the ice cream", she said.
Not wanting to leave Sai and Virat alone that night, Pakhi insisted to stay claiming that she wants to make a heart to heart bond with the child's mother to which Sai rolled her eyes again.
Virat came back to the silent room and offered all the icecream to Pakhi. "Pakhi please eat it all and let me see when the baby's happiness glows on your face", he said greedily.
Sai mimicked puking 🤢to his comments but he ignored his wife's actions and was focussing on Pakhi while she reluctantly ate her most hated flavor of icecream.
Moments later, she ran to the bathroom unable to eat any further and acted like Vomiting. When she came back Virat was visually upset and blamed Pakhi for chosing wrong flavor that his child did not like to which Sai laughed under her breathe.
"Viraaaattt, how will I know your child doesnt like it!?", Pakhi tried to explain.
"OK OK you are not actual mother I know", Virat dismissed her. "Next time try to feel what my child wants", he said deridingly.
Pakhi for the first time felt like slapping Virat for his obsession. But controlled herself and started her game plan again.
"Viraaaatt, Sai, Can I sleep with you guys here in the same bedroom?" she asked to the shocked faces of to-be parents and continued "I mean, I am getting nightmares alone. If there are more people then the child would feel more safer."
"But Pakhi didi...", Sai started to protest when Virat intervened.
Sure Pakhi...you can", he said and the stopped "wait....my child feels safe when he is around entire family.", he said clapping to his own idea and went out to call everyone in the family. to Pakhi's utter disbelief.
So from that day onwards Virat made everyone sleep in the living room with pakhi in the center bed and all other surrounding her from all directions.
Pakhi is getting more and more desperate to separate them and also outraged at Virat's obsession. She wondered how a person like Virat, who was so sorted out, and composed can behave like a maniac! But she also wanted to take advantage of his obsession and his utter disregard of common sense to her advantage. Thus she planned her last move.
After convincing the family that sleeping with entire family is suffocating her, she moved back to her own room. One night when Sai went on to her night duty, she lured the prey into her room.
"Viraaattt", she screamed to which Virat ran towards her room instantaneously like Flash.
"What happened what happened?", he screamed looking at her stomach much to her annoyance.
"Viraaaat!! I saw Samraaat in my dreams", she said not understanding how to start a conversation and knowing that using this name would make Virat look up and see her face. So did he.
"That is good!", he said smiling broadly. "My baby will get to see his uncle", he said not clearly knowing whether his words made any sense.
"Viraaat, it was not a normal dream", she said shyly.
"Not normal? did you see Sammy's death in your dream", Virat panicked. "No no please dont dream sad things. I will do anything in my capacity that you dream good", Virat said with utmost conviction.
"Viraaat, woh", Pakhi hesitated. "I dont know how to say", she said smiling shyly and tracing her finger on Virat's hand. "I dreamt of our never fulfilled first night". she said to the shocked face of Virat, but before he could respond she said "I mean doctor said my harmones will make me crave for you know...", she said raising her eyebrows and trying to make him understand and still seeing Virat's shocked and confused face. "you know ..", and whispered the 3 letter word in Virat's ears.
Pakhi didnt expect Virat's next reaction.
"Anything for you Pakhi!", he said searching his phone to her utter bewilderment.
"What are you doing Virat?", she asked "what are you searching?"
"I dont know, but I remember this wonderful site from my bachelor days which has some good videos. Not sure if it is still live...", he said not without adding "these days I dont need to visit these sites..." he gave unwanted information to Pakhi and further concluding "My brother Jeeva used to love these videos. so please see them and you can make yourself happy....Jeeva will be happy too.", he suggested without any hesitation, and giving a double thumbsup.
Pakhi wanted to smash his head with nearby flower vase but composed herself . "Is this guy dumb or stupid or clever or innocent", she questioned her judgement on Virat. But not losing this awesome opportunity she tried to clear things as clearly as possible.
"Thanks Virat... but your child likes only the daddyyy", she said running her finger up through his shoulder.
Blood drained from Virat's face. Everything became clear to him in that one moment. Everything from Sai's hesitancy to Pakhi's adamancy for this "Prakriya". He felt used. And ofcourse he felt stupid and insensitive. Never in his life, he feared this much. And without looking back he ran....and ran...to City hospital.
His wife was sitting alone in her cabin, sleeping peacefully and was jolted into awareness when she heard him scream in agony "Sai....." and then he cried and cried like a baby remembering Pakhi's last dialogue and her expression. When he stopped crying and was only choking on words. Sai gently rubbed his cheeks and asked what happened.
"Sai, Pakhi cheated us", he said to which his wife replied calmly "Yes I know. I was sure you will know one day too", she said kissing him on the forehead.
After a while, taking in the most honest face through his eyes and when the image of Pakhi popped in again, he held his wife's hands and took a promise for life.
"Sai promise me that you will make sure our baby will never ever calls me daddy", he asked.
Sai was surprised initially but she is now used to hear any crap from her husband's mouth. Afterall, Pregnancy has definitely played with his mind!
Note: I call my father daddy. So yeah this is not about the word but the expression. Kindly forgive me if I hurt anyone's sentiments.
