Don't watch YHC neither can comment on the legal aspects of these complaints.

However, it looks like instigating a child to do acts which may harm someone. So the blame directly won't fall on the instigator.. as far as my understanding goes. A child cannot testify that he/she was cajoled to do this... So there might not be any case. Sure it is wrong but these things happen.

Ghum is different. The characters who committed crimes are adults and P, BK did it with malice... It wasn't unintentional. It was a proper thought out plan.

V is an IPS officer for godsakes... So it can't be said that he didn't understand that he was breaking a law.

The doctor didn't even cross verify whether it's the same person for a procedure as sensitive as this.

Just for this, ghum needs some reprimanding. It's not a instigation... It's proper criminal offence.

If anyone is putting a complaint hence forth, please make sure to mention V's profession. 😡

I dont warch yhc either but i think it's helpful to get a reality check on what kind of response to expect so that people complaining dont get too optimistic.

In yhc it looks like they complained about how they have potrayed a child being manipulated by adults into performing a potentially heinous , criminal act. So thats also clearly a crime and abusive towards the child. Yet its been brushed away.

and yhc have added obligation that with a child actor on set they should not create drama elements where they show the child is being subjected to such negative/toxic content in the name of acting. But as we can see from the responses- its some jalebis and IBF also has let it go with a "warning" or whatever.

So yahaan par bhi same hoga.

I have no expectations that the complaints will lead to anything constructive.

Its more for self satisfaction, peace of mind and also just to remind the channel/makers that "listen, audience is not happy with their content and audience is not stupid to tolerate any BS in the name of drama quotient".

I don’t watch anything or regular basis. BAHL2 and WTHA. BAHL2 had a good feel to it. A mature and a somewhat realistic growth of a married couple. Finding love and discovering each other. But then not sure what happened and there was separation and leap. And now there MU and fights. The usual.
WTHA is all about the chemistry. I like Shaheer. But then there is a third angle and a scheming MIL.
Scheming MIL and third angle being the common point.

However none of these can compete with Ghum in the level of toxicity and regressive content

IBF is like a govt body... So we know how quick they are in such matters... It would be months before it might even be taken up.

Still it feels good to have put a word across to concerned authority.

Is there any organisation that deals, helps people in getting information on surrogacy like they have for adoption???

I guess there's a national authority which screens applicants for adoption and then decides whether to give a child to them or not?

I dont know about that. I have only basic medical knowledge about female anatomy, problems, diseases, treatment options. Its all superficial. Every mbbs will know this. But i am not a GYN and my specialization is nowhere related so unfortunately i have no idea about the laws, specific details pertaining to surrogacy in india.

The least can be done that if any doctor and police file a case against the ph and channel for promoting misinformation.if anyone by chance does that ph and everyone associate with them will be dragged down to the court..it may hamper their livelihood forgood..

However this time the issue is very very sensitive and serious... Government had made many amendments on surrogacy law for a reason.. But the channel and ph is showing loopholes in the law...

That's why I'm keep saying Ayesha should quit this show because this ph doesn't seem to have any sense of content.. Hence she will get in trouble one day..

This ph don't understand the sentiment of audience..this ph is completely alienated with viewers..

All TV shows are regressive and cringe but not to such extent.. Ghum has really gone overboard with toxicity

I dont think actors will get in trouble even if there is a court case filed. The show can shut down if there is a court case n all and that will be good only! band hojaaye toh hi accha hai. Ayesha can then focus on looking for new projects too. The only way any actor will get in trouble is if they make any irresponsible comments in public domain in their individual capacity that somebody deices to file a case about that. But as long as they do anything in the show as a character they will be protected coz the responsibility of the content potrayed falls on makers, PH and channel. Unlike Movie actors who get a full script before they sign the script tv actors dont know kya hoga. Here it is different that certtian TV actors are definitely implicated in the sudden change in storyline because it seems all too convenient for a certain pair's SS that will increase....

However there have been examples of tv actors that quit a show because they found the content unpalatable. Like I heard Erica Fernandes quit a season of KHPKAB after she felt her characterization was compromised. If at any point the crassness of the content /negativity or toxicity gets to Ayesha so much then maybe she will just choose to quit because she does not want to be associated with it even to just earn a living...its a tough call. I dunno if I were in her shoes, would I be able to quit a show in which I was FL where I am getting steady income, steady job, screen time and recognition from fans...also this is a breakout show for her. her debut as FL. she has certain contracts and obligations too...she would not want to strain her professional relationship too much even if she hates their current plots... and its not like the overall state of ITV is such that she can cry foul and say only ghkkpm sucks. Ghkkpm is definitely leading in terms of topmost toxicity but many other shows are also giving problematic content. And for Ayesha herself, she is the hero, the protagonist. The character that has been massacred is V. So Sai as a character thus far has not really been compromised too much for Ayesha to take the call to quit just on that basis. Her perceived "weakness" as Sai now is from emotional attachment, love for her spouse but she is clearly going to air her grief about this decision of BK, PP, V. so as Sai, Ayesha has got a chance to explore many shades despite the overall story being SO crass. The question is, at what point will Ayesha feel like- enough is enough, this show overall is SO rubbish that it is not worth being associated with it even for just monetary reasons or to fulfil the professional obligations.
