That is where that one scene where Jagtap refers to Sai as a fish that keeps slipping out of his hand, V has tears forming in his eyes (that was another scene i liked from today's episode). He is feeling helpless, unable to shut down Jagtap who has was harassing, threatening and demeaning his wife in his presence. The one who vowed to protect and stand by her was tied and incapable in his response for her sake.

He has me in creeps.🙈. But will just compare it to an earlier comment of mine. V ensured SH was not arrested, he did everything in his power, even going against his work ethics. But here he simply said that he was bound by his duty. Yes I agree this was sudden and stuff but how Jagtap put it, reminded me of it again. The word "duty" sounded a little hoax.

Coming to the lines, Jagtap and Karna can't be compared except they stood on devil's end. Jagtap is devil personified...without a soul, but Karna had a soul a good one at that, which is forfeited for the sake of friendship or indebtedness.

But I do get what you are trying to say wrt to Sai here. I see that perspective. The comparison from the standpoint of the female for the choice of a life partner.

That is where it seemed Jagtap knows the importance and the impact this could have on Sai. He said she is about to lose the very dream of being a doctor that she fought for all this while. He is more aligned there than the one who's dream is at stake and the one who is the supporting pillar in the realisation of the dream.

Virat saving Shruthi and Sai cannot be compared imo . Shruthi had to be hidden to escape arrest and Virat knew this was the only way to save her as she was a criminal and was pregnant. Sai’s case is different Virat knows Sai is innocent and he can save her by proving her innocence . If Virat had refused to arrest Sai then some other officer would have done it as the case was out in open unlike Shruthi where she wasn’t the primary suspect . The only way Virat could save Sai from arrest is if he has hidden Sai just like Shruthi but that would make her case more weak and Sai will have to forget about her being a doctor . That would mean Sai’s name would never be cleared . Moreover Sai herself wouldn’t agree to this . In both case Virat was bound by duty but his way of protecting them was different.

It’s true if she was Jagtap’s wife she wouldn’t be here because she wouldn’t be a doctor in the first place . His obsession with Sai would end the day he claimed her and she would be a mere house wife . He wouldn’t let het free nor would give her wife’s rights .

Let's just hold our thoughts on that one. Because this itself seems to be a long track. If Samrat is leaving for another work commitment woh khatam hone ke baad bhi woh easily some back kar sakta hai. Itna to kichega🤣

I agree to your version. But I'm not levelling up this against V. It wasn't a comparison on all grounds. And most importantly we are still not on clear grounds on SH's involvement. She was supposed to lead the gang after Sada's death and suddenly she is cleared of any involvement towards the end of the track. There were so many blotches in the treatment and execution of SH's character. So from what I could read after the entire track was that V knew about SH's innocence (which was not revealed to us in the beginning) and with her vulnerable situation, he wanted to protect her to honour the promise to Sada. So in both cases he is aware of the innocence.

Like I mentioned for Virat it was a shock, he wasn't prepared for it. had he known before he went to the hospital he would have done something to avoid the arrest. In SH's case he is had the time to plan the escape.

All I wanted to say that same word duty was used in dubious way in both tracks. Virat referring to his helplessness as he was bound by duty while arresting Sai, and V accepting that he was going against law and his duty calls for protecting Sai. My comparison is not of tracks in entirety, but it was more around the usage of the word duty. This is like viewing it from a limited angle. That is why it is a perception and not a perspective. There is definitely the bigger picture which you have spoken about.
