OK my cow story in short is sticking with KD plot. Whatever I have seen till fake preggers in KD, I see that the essence is retained in Ghum. Vankar has been loyal to the story, though adding his own creativity in showing few things more clearly than in KD. For example: Sai's love realization.
Many thought that Emon's love realization and the night before talk are very confusing, including me. Even though if you really understand emon you can still connect why she behaved the way she did that night. Vankar here elaborated it. He made sure Sai's insecurities and her under confidence with Virat is shown clearly. And how Pakhi would play with her mind. With MiMo track, he successfully removed Pakh's equation from Sai's mind which was not allowing her to see things clearly. Once Pakhi is removed, she thought about Virat as her husband. The baby talk and sex talk was embraced by her. She was ready but her fears and low confidence is not gone. That is what is tackled by Vankar in Sruthi track. Even though it didnt fit with Virat's emotions then, it was clearly and meticulously written around Sai's fears, and her acceptance of Virat. Her love for him surfaced with full force! It is him that mattered to her in the end, not his past. If I look back at sruthi track, it shows Vankar's understanding of KD only. There also, it is always about Rono and Emon trying to find the meaning of marriage and love, making it stronger and stronger.
Now Love is established, but there are two things that needs to be asserted. Man's love is always tainted by physical love. Though a necessary ingredient, it also has potential to demean the concept of True love. We all know Virat is extremely attraced to Sai from the beginning. Pakhi always taunted he fell for her because of her education, and her being young. So Virat has to come clean in this aspect. Story wise also it will poetically justify his love, and moves it to 'true' love plane. Similarly story point of view, Sai has to prove her trust on Virat. Her mistrust has shattered their peace before. Now, from story point of view, her trust has to be tested. These are closures which put their love beyond their marriage and morality. These plots give poetic justice to the story and their relationship. Hence, I believe Vankar will show Jagtap track and Fake pregnancy also. One to test Virat's love is not limited to physical love and one to prove Sai trusts him completely.
I also think there will be no surrogacy because Sai's pregnancy and Virat missing it is a high point. They have love and trust but whatelse could upset their relationship? It is their 'taken for granted' behavior that might slowly create the cracks. In Sruthi 2 phase, I dont think Emon suspects Rono. She will be pissed off because he deprioritizes her and misses their child's delivery that might question his love for her.. I dont think such a high point will be missed by Vankar. No way!
Now keeping in mind my arguments for the 2 closures, Jagtap might kidnap Sai and try to molest her. Pakhi and BK will be ready to jump in and question her chastity. Virat will prove that his love is beyond her body, and he will stand by her. Then there are 24 hour shifts and Sammy missing due to MB trips. So if after Jagtap track, there is an award ceremony, there are high chances that Pakhi might fake preggers in jealousy. Sammy will fall right into it. Because he might think Virat strayed due to Sai's and his absence. There are chances! And Pakhi has not accepted him as her husband yet. So he will be vulnerable. These tracks still have potential and logically more feasible than surrogacy. And KD storyline is not compromised. And my argument that Sai's pregnancy and Virat missing it has lot more realistic/poignant drama than illogical surrogacy.
PS: Simple reason is surrogacy did not happen in KD, and Vankar is loyal to KD till now.
