All of us knew SR nahi hota, I guess we were expecting a lit bit more intimacy than hugs and kisses. Like even helping remove jewellery is romantic, or little homely - couple-y things. The biggest bummer was direct morning and breakfast. I am guessing many of the viewers lost interest there.
Virat asking for hug permission I am taking it because just a minute before she refused for kiss. So mentally he was like can I atleast hug you? So, taken.
Samrat ka dialogue was so wrong on so many levels:
"Hum ek aise insaan se pyaar karte hai jisse hamare pyaar ki zara bhi kadar nahi. Woh hame hamare pyaar ke badle mei pyaar bhi nahi de sakta" - Dude, you are talking about your wife ka unrequited love for your own brother
Then the woman talks to him about giving divorce to which he replies, "Tum baar baar ek hi baat kyu bol rahi ho Patralekha." - He says I could have divorced you long ago. She says him leaving on the first night was like a divorce for her
But the most problematic line is this...
"Jab mei tumhe chhodke jaa sakta tha tab mei tumhe janta tak nahi tha, ya yu kaho ki janne ka waqt tak nahi mila... Lekin ab mei tumhare saath rehta hu aur tumse pyaar..."
This confrontation would have made sense when they got married. Now despite knowing everything, seeing Patralekha spew venom day in and day out and openly lusting for Virat, if Samrat has fallen in love with Patralekha, then Samrat is making a mockery of himself. This is not Amar Prem. This is Akhand ********
