i skipped the bk-ashwini portions, but honestly not much came out of today imo.I understand Sai's restlessness and anxiety to get it over with and just walk up and say- it was a lie that I wont pursue my career. Honestly I am not sure why V is opposing Sai telling BK then and there- except to buy himself a few days of romance and drama deficient days before the inevitable. Because now that shaadi is done, no need for facade. He is right when he says BK was wrong in blackmailing them before the last phera. But now that the phera is done, there is no need to pretend. Whats the worst- she will throw a fit. Thats it. Uss ka toh roz ka hai.
That aside, the hugs were sweet. Especially the part where she gives hima tight squeeze and says- I wont let you go anywhere. Thankfully no BDs used this time. I liked that V went down on his knee and kissed her hand. It was cute that Sai said V have repeated many more ILUs- almost as if now that they have confessed, they wanna keep saying and hearing it over n over. Precap mein V is trying to get laid- reminding Sai that its first night but Sai is not the kind who will be able to focus on that when her mind is reeling with other stuff. I understand her POV.
Ayesha is nailing the shy cum bold responses. She is blushing even as he kisses her hand but she is still looking him square in the eye. I love how she is SO natural....
In her dialogues and body language, I can sense that passion for what she wants to do. She has a calling and she cant imagine any roadblocks in her path. Ayesha performed it beautifully.
I also liked how she is so practical and talks about her hours that she needs to clock, getting her license, and how V cant be bothered to keep sorting this when he has his own career and dreams to manage too.
One thing was missing- Sai said more than one- oh you do so much for me...I wish V had reciprocated and said- you do too! he in passing mentions how she lied to save his job but didnt thank her or acknowledge how amazing it was for Sai to be thinking about him and his career even when she was SO hurt. In hindsight that should show him HOW much she loved/cared for him... Does he remember the things she has done for himw- how she saved his life, how she got him cleared of all charges, every thing she has done for each member of the family- even the times he has supported her, the inciting person is Sai- she is the one who convinces him also before getting him to help her in the plans.
I really want V to reflect on things and tell Sai how he now understands her reasons....Dont see that happening though :(
