Note - A separate post today, because this is more on the future track prospects. As this episode was nothing more than a prelude to the upcoming track, a turning point. Build up for how this is to shape up the upcoming story. Rest it was a usual toxic dose of Ghum. The defining factor is yet to come.

Soul vs Sole - It is paradoxical. Finding someone you call soul mate, attaching your whole being to that soul, yet realising that very soul has made you solo. In one's entirety of being solo and independent, being incomplete in that very completeness in the absence of that soul.

Before I start with upcoming, will just rant about today's episode. Let me be frank, I skipped most of it. The liberal woman in me had her blood boiling at such regressiveness and harassment. BK was her nasty, overbearing self. She just has to establish her matriarchy and make everyone bow down. It really doesn’t matter to her whether Sai works or not. It all has an underlying meaning. Today, BK's statement "on daughter's having no say" not only cleared her mindset bit also threw light on a few instances we have questioned in the past. Devi being called out to stay away from Chavan family matters by P. I had included this in one of my TS as an eye opener for BK. How wrong I was! She herself happens to breed such mentality, and didn’t even spare her own daughter. Mansi was rendered speechless, because that statement kind of revoked any rights she thought she had. The fact that Samrat is never given prominence and his domestic life or extension to family is never spoken about. Because he is the son to Mansi who is the daughter of Chavan family, and hence is not really the son of the family. So all claims to Samrat being a son and equivalent to V is bullshit and eye wash. Hence, his happiness and married life is not a priority. No wonder P gets her way around. But the irony in this is P herself is the DIL of the daughter of the house. Then how does she get to interfere in every damn family matter when the daughter (Mansi) herself doesn't have a say. Double standards and double statements. Wish someone had called out this fact. The whole concept of woman just being home makers with house hold chores and bearing kids is so downright insulting. It is a choice, and it is entirely a woman's prerogative. What she wants to do with her life, her career. Reducing woman to forcefully restricting them to home is so medieval. Even when they are home makers its their choice and its where their interest lies. But here the whole home maker tag is reduced to an unworthy one hence assigned to woman. Its insulting the work done by woman as part of managing the house and woman themselves.

P is SHAMELESS! Karishma openly called out that she is still hoping to unite with V and she didnt blink at eye. How much more sick will she be and how much more pathetic can Sonali and Karishma be to enjoy such lust. While Karishma stated that they are anyways married, P was sure that there is more to come. She was confident that this stroke of hers will yield the result and she was only waiting for things to unfold.

Seriously. Can she every be exposed and humiliated. She deserves that and more for her lusting, incessant, filthy mind and motives. But I doubt it will ever happen. Such is the love for her!

V was so DISAPPOINTING! He was practically mute the whole time. Except at the proud feeling of her wife wanting to accept his name. We had such a fine discussion on his addressal of "Sai Joshi". All ruined today. It is fine to change one's name, if they want to be identified in a certain way, it should be a matter of gratitude towards one doing it rather than holding it up like a trophy. Nonsense. Sai was being insulted in front of so many people, the very woman he was getting married to moments ago and within seconds he falls short on all the vows! Kudos to the Vaada Chavan! The mighty fall.

The entire Sai team which stood with her in confessing her love were mere spectators. No one had the voice to object or interrupt Bhavani, except the lame half statements by Ashwini.

*************************

I'm divided in my thoughts about what’s in store and how I want the story to progress. And this entirely depends on the two contrasting predictions I have for tomorrow.

1. Sairat Journey - I'm not sure, but I'm still unable to shake off this feeling about V not standing up for Sai. The certain optimist in me says that the precap is a lil misleading. Two reasons for this. Firstly the promo talked about 8th vachan (sorry if you feel my record is stuck on it), but it kind of seems symbolic. The 8th vachan that he will always stand by her side and support her. He is yet to give that promise to her. Is this how he will promise and prove? And the use of the word "Bahu" by V. There seems to be a catch in it. His statement seemed ambiguous in today's precap ("Isiliye maine ye jawab diya hai"). Like it had an underlined meaning. Secondly, we have known him to be fiercely committed to Sai and her dream of becoming a doc. We have spoken about this last week, how this is something he has always stood by in all situations. Sai did mention how this is her father's dream, and V is well aware of it. What is point of letting her study medicine when she is not allowed to pursue it as a career? How is it even important then? He knows he is bearing the responsibility of not just Sai but his guru's dream as well. So like I said in earlier post, here is where V takes prominence. He will stand by Sai and help her in achieving her dreams. I would want V to strongly stand by Sai. For him to make Sai stay for Shivani and Rajeev wedding to be complete as he promised and leave with her for Bangalore. Give the invitation for his wedding to everyone. Since she may not be the DIL but she will surely be his wife, if thats what it takes for her to follow her dreams. They start a new chapter together with a sense of understanding and trust. Only Sairat Journey.

2. Sai's solo journey - Well, I loved the precap. I have been one of those wanting Sai's solo journey to get respite form the toxic family and unworthy husband. If V actually meant what he said and there was no alternate meaning to it, then she did the best thing. To break off the ties and walk out with her head held high. He doesn’t deserve her. Period. No amount of redemption can redeem him because he lost the only saving factor that he had intact in him. If this is indeed a separation then it will be all the more painful, because it comes with the awareness that they love each other.

The way Sai looked at V with hopeful eyes and he broke her trust by that response - Being married to him doesnt mean he owns her or her life decisions. She gave him that privilege, that chance to prove her belief in him. But if he intended otherwise he failed himself and her. V being supportive of her career choice and fighting against everyone for it were the pivotal reasons for her to fall for him. It added to the character of the person she was falling in love with. It was his value system that resonated so much with her father. Another attribute on her checklist of ideal man. If he decides that she will sacrifice her career to become Chavan DIL, then he has been FAKE through out. It also means that it is not just Sai but we as audience have been fooled by his double face. He feels something else and shows something else for the sake of maintaining a certain image. It just proves that the V Sai loves is an illusion, and guy in front of her is not even a shell of him. He cheated her. And there is no forgiveness for this. (But we know how ITV works). Sai walking out despite loving him makes her so admirable. Her self esteem and individuality is more important than love ...love for a man who values none of it. I wish she would ask him if he would sacrifice his career, to be married to her.

If he does choose for Sai leaving her career, then kudos to P. She really really knows him well. He fooled everyone and only she knew his true side. Because that's where her confidence came from, that this move of hers will have the desired outcome eventually. None predicted V to behave in this way. So it just says how well she knows V's mind and mentality. Then we should really give no hoots about P and V pairing. They will be meant to be together. Spare the rest.

If this is what it is being reduced to, then let Sai have a life of her own, her struggles, her wins, her smiles, her sorrows and her success..only her with none to dilute. Parallel story can run and the day of regret for everyone of them when she soars high in life and career that none can match.

But there is a part which wants a dejected P to leave to his transferred destination, blaming BK for ruining his life and happiness, Samrat to leave with Mansi, vowing not to make it easy for P and Ashwini cursing BK to build her kingdom on the ashes of happiness of their own children.

I'm not sure where my vote is today. It all depends on the "SPINE" whether it decides to crawl up or curl in!

Sai becoming a bahu has lesser scope for story progression than Sai becoming a doctor. Sai's career will always be a bone of contention for her detractors.

Sai will pursue her dreams, thats for sure. What needs to be seen is whether she does it alone or V will stand by her.

This has what IF has exclusively learnt...

Now, India Forums has exclusively learned that contrary to the promo, Virat will later take a firm stand for his wife Sai and will support her in her career choices. It will be interesting to see how Virat will handle the issue with Bhavani being adamant about Sai not working as a doctor.

Much appreciation for putting proper words to the anger we are all feeling.

While i am too, upset at the way it happened today, I would like to wait for tomm and maybe this week entirely to dissect V and his words. This is not going to end tomm is my gut feeling.

If and only if they can turn this track into some positive and help change even a few members of the society of their shackles, i would applaud the makers for bringing this track. It's a really really interesting spin.

All women are faced with choices on daily basis... Right from the clothes to wear to what time to come back home.

Married ones have that to an unprecedented level especially in families such as CN.

BK has always been like this. Which is why they made such a hue and cry about Sai going to college. The mindset has not changed, neither will it change overnight.

Sai stood by it with her determination and support of both V and Ashwini. For whatever it's worth, Ash did help her during her studies.

V has been Sais steadfast supporter right from day one, even when he had no romantic feelings for her. So i would go with your option 1.

He will support her, and i too felt that the bahu dialogue had an underlying meaning. It looked like he wanted to convey her something. She couldn't understand it and left the venue. He will go and bring her back. (as per the update from Sandeep).

So shaadi to hoke rahegi.

Point is what and how will V convince BK?

My feeling is he will make it up about himself. That i want Sai and if you want me, you will have to accept her. Because nothing seems to work on BK other than keeping V in the house. P will agree to it.

Something similar on the lines of Mahashivratri and Pakhi ka parents anniversary when he said hum pati patni hai... Ek ke saath dusra aayega hi types.

While this may work, i do want him to convince BK for what Sai is.. point it out how had it not been for Sai, Rajeev wouldn't have been alive. Or he himself wouldn't be alive. Since he knows it and abhi tak hasn't mentioned it, now would be a good time to credit Sai with saving his life.

While he should have spoken more today, that's the usual ghum type where he stays silent until the very end and then speaks and becomes mahaan. Can't help it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think they used a BD in today’s episode! He might be busy with his reality show. Hence no dialogues😅🤣
