Ok watched the episode. I did not forsee Virat to understand Sai's PoV yet, nor I expected him to be her advocate today so I was not disappointed as much :)
Yesterday I posted somewhere that I saw Virat and Sai acting as a team in making him forgive his family. Sai as a true partner was guiding him. Contrast this to Samrakhi's spat today. Samrat is advising Pakhi, but she is not receptive. On the otherhand, Virat is very receptive to Sai and her suggestions. He has high regards for her values and morals. So when she gave him 'gyan' at the right moment when things turned up side down, Virat lapped it up. He was already contemplating whether he was going overboard with Sai and started to work with family for shivani's wedding. Sai already succeeded in reducing his anger and yesterday the situations made him see what Sai was saying and he worked as she instructed. I found them as true married couple, who becomes each other's guide when needed.
So today also, while he exchanged plesantaries with his family alone, I did not see Sai's absence. She was there all the time, in his words and in his mind. It appeared to me that he didnt want to disturb his wife's sleep on this tete-e-tete. She has done her duty, now he will handle it. 😆
Omi and his family are jokers to me! And story also shows them like that. If a dog barks at elephant, should it bother? I would be mad at Virat if he didnt shut up Pakhi because she speaks with agenda to cause hatred against her. So thankfully nothing like that happened. What Sai has done, the important people understood. Aai, Mohit, Sammy and Mansi bua. They all know Sai is behind this transformation of Virat. And Virat made sure that they perceive it that way only.
He also said he behaved 'ghatiya' with them. That extends to Sai also. Because he was being rude which he seldom behaves with elders of his family. Him being silent on Sai's separate kitchen also counts under 'ghatiya' harkat 😆. This was not the occassion about him and Sai. It was limited to him removing his anger and forgiving them for their mistrust, and his wife played a huge role.
Once he forgave them, he was happy that the extra burden was removed and he rushed to share the news with his partner. Many times we feel relived at settling things which makes us feel happy. It is no more about forgiving Sai, it is just to share the news that he fulfilled her wish and next is to set things right between them. He must have had a peaceful sleep. :)
Morning also, he behaved as I expected. His panic raising as he finds no clue of her from different sources. While he is scared that she might leave, the happenings of yesterday still stayed in his heart so there is a disbelief and hope that she might not have left. Otherwise, why would his face light up at the sherwani? It cant be black and white right? Yesterday he saw her holding the photo and sleeping, he might have realized she loves him. There is that understanding, and therefore there is a hope that she might not have left. I was also surprised to see precap before watching the episode as to how he can attend the wedding when she is not there! but the episode shows that he received enough hints to wait for her to come back. May be tomorrow, when she doesnt turn up in time he panics for real.
PS: When Shivani bua asked whether he forgave the family, his focus was on Sai's missing bag near the wardrobe. That sums it up for me where his heart lies.
