They dont always have discomfort. Some days it looks very natural, other days theres obviously some jhol. The tum-tak sequence was so romantic and well done. But then in the lahu muh lag gaya scene, Ayesha was the one elevating the scene varna neither the backdrop, lighting, choreography or ML performance was good enough. Its a mish mash of poor direction/dialogues and on/off performance of ML that causes the disconnect.

And like people point out often, even SBS news channel gets better camera angles than the show makers. So kuch toh gadbad hai inka. God alone knows why they are so inconsistent.

But why it has to happen only with SaiRat scenes..

Look how Sachin and tanvi could pull this off so naturally..

Even yogi and Aish are so comfortable with each other..

There are jhol.. But how long this can go?? Neil especially needs some counselling 😖

NB really needs to understand and figure out his character arc. To me his performance is so utterly disjointed. There is no consistency. In bits and pieces he acts like he is in love with Sai but majority of the time he looks angry or disgusted or indifferent - not hurt/longing. He gives similar reactions to pp/shruti that he gives to Sai. He doesn't show a clear difference in body language between wife and friends/acquaintances. Makers /writers also dont help matters by giving minimal V monologues, occasional lollipop scenes but no real conversation that helps move their relationship forward.

Just for the sake of argument...

Is it possible that the distance between leads is deliberate?

Sai is a fierce, very clear headed girl.

V himself had put in the condition of 'deal marriage' and 'no pati patni wala rishta'

So if any of them crosses this boundary, it is bound to lead to an argument, fight even seperation.

Based on purely these two factors, why do I feel that the distancing is to enhance the tension and longing for each other but they are hesitant with each other?

Laddoo, Dupatta, Chipkali, Ep 200 wala almost kiss, all come to mind where they were sort of attracted to each other, were at a much more relaxed mindset and could have definitely been together (a kiss was totally possible).

Whereas now, the situation is different, V wants to stay away yet finding it difficult.

And Sai wants to cross the barrier but is not sure about V.

Whereas for all the other couples and especially Samrakhi... This is not the case. Pakhi has been deliberately misleading Sammy... So his actions are with her implicit consent. Holi scene in particular should not be considered because Pakhi was imagining V.

Maybe after SaiRat confess, these issues would not happen.

I had good vibes from Tum tak and Lahu. Both V and Sai were fairly bold from their usual behaviour.

Virat said to Shivani 'I understand you are angry at Rajeev and has so much to sunao him, but I cannot let you go through that hurt again...I cannot see you live that bad memories again'. He wanted to stop Shivani from meeting Rajeev to protect her. When Shivani met Rajeev, she threw away the cup and screamed 'I hate you'. Virat then looked at Sai signaling 'see, I was right'. Rajeev also said he left her on wedding day, didnt pick up her call. Then she slapped him few times and also said she is broken completely. Isnt everything that happened is exactly as he said? Wasnt he right?

When Rajeev keep apologizing and asking for forgiveness, I was reminded of Virat when he apologizes to Sai before. But Shivani forgiving Rajeev was not what Virat expected. When Virat said 'dont fall for his words and he is trapping you in his words', why was I reminded of Sai and Virat's 'conversation' when Sai was packing her bag to leave CN last time? When Virat had asked 'if he had died in the mission will she leave the house?'. Sai was affected at first, then she said 'the last time (after her second accident) you stopped me with your talks (Devi's infamous superstition) but I will not stop this time'. Did he take that everytime he apologized and Sai stayed in CN was because she was trapped by his words? This is just my assumption. And Virat's words about forgiveness and second chance came back at him. Is that what Sai wanted to say to Shivani before she changed to follow your heart?

Sai wants to make mission impossible to possible and Shivani said she knows how to make the impossible to possible. Positive sign?

Virat had said to Patralekha 'Sai is doing wrong, doesnt realize she is doing wrong thinking she is right, even after being told she is wrong doesnt accept her mistake'. When Virat murmured 'isska kuch nahi ho sakta', did he think Sai is still wrong?

When Shivani said 'if someone is angry means that person is still in their heart and mind'. Then it made sense when Rajeev said he is glad Shivani is still angry at him. He figured Shivani still loves him. No wonder Shivani said Sai should make Rajeev her love guru. Sai knows family will be angry if Rajeev suddenly appears in CN, so she wants to make Virat into their side. Instead of bulldozing ahead she is planning. Good going. But he is still in khadoos mood.

Shivani and Rajeev may have reconciled but getting married is the part thats gonna be dramatic, and stretched maybe. Even yesterday I thought why is he not serious when the matter is? Then when he said he wants to go straight to CN, ready to get scolded and receive whatever punishment meted to him, wants to get married with the family's blessing..he knows whats the right thing to do, but doesnt take tension. I think his equation with Sai is gonna be fun.

Best part of today's episode was when Rajeev said Sai is the smartest in CN because he have met the rest of the family. If I could I would have high fived him through the screen. Fufaji bhi bohot smart hai.

Rajeev still kept Shivani's perfume bottle all these years. That reminded me of the perfume Virat gifted Sai on Diwali. Also the green dress he brought her at Mahabaleshwar and the dress that she came searching for its dupatta in their room. Where are all these stuff?

Rajeev is now Sai's love guru, so the previous precap is now done. Will we see the current precap tomorrow?

Rono Emon had more intimacy even before they confessed..

When Rono was brought home with Emon after he got shot that scenes was more beautiful than here.. It sequence was longer than this one..

Then we have spooky night.. Emon actually hugs him sleeping.. Over here it finishes within few seconds..

Actor's discomfort for intimate scenes are nothing new but their physical proximity is much better.. This is the first show I have ever come across where lead shared such discomfort to this level..

Even the the scene when Sai cuddles Virat to comfort him Ayesha's hand positioning were too odd..

Kissing in the Air floating in air all ruined my viewing experience.. They could have skipped those scenes if actor's are uncomfortable..

Lahu muh laag gaya is such a disappointment.. Both in terms of expression and direction.. SBS camera angles are much better..

They are showing distance between Sairat only for Sai to cross all the barriers - mental, emotional and physical to be with Virat.

Its very weird. Sometimes, there is comfort like in the physio scene. At times, it looks visibly awkward even in simple scenes. It was fine till 200 eisodes. After that this inconsistency is seen...especially recently. Camera angles also ruin some scenes totally...like when Sai & Virat get conscious in car during MiMo phase. Don't know what the issue is exactly. Wish it is sorted out ...now that confession is on the way...that's all one can hope for.

Contract toh tab hi bana hoga.

If it's a new development (post his wedding) phir bhi it doesn't make sense. Cz contracts are usually annual.

And if wedding is the issue then I assume even Aish should do something like this. Clause and all. But her scenes with Yogi don't seem as awkward as Sairat.

Also, didn't Neil have any intimate/romantic scenes in his previous shows? Haven't followed much of his work. Curious to know.

Or is this a deliberate matter because of SJ?

Sometimes I feel NB too is not so convinced about V's character arc.

Also as I mentioned in numerous other posts, I don't think makers really gave that space for Sairat to develop. They are not able to handle multiple plotlines at a time tbh.
