My first red flag was the mirchi kaand too.

The second red flag - and that one was huge - was during the alta episode - when he asked Karishma to get Sai down forcefully if she refused to come . Darn, should have left the show then. Since then, it was a lame attempt to pretend that the abuse episodes did not happen, in order to keep watching the story. But no matter how much I pretended, with each abuse, SaiRat was no longer what it was.

The day Virat and Pakhi joined hands to humiliate Sai (as also the locking up) after anniversary fiasco - SaiRat died a complete death. 💔

My red flag was the time when virat is born(i mean when i saw the 1st episode).I thought usually itv makers can never make a balance between ml and fl's character. They have to always degrade ml's character or make him dumb to run the storyline. So i never had any expectations nor interest in virat😃Yet i watched this show for time pass. And after few days sai became my fav.But didn't thought that sai's character will also become weak slowly and steadily😭

I was out off by the very commitment he gave to Pakhi. Either he should have let her go completely or should have married her. There should have been no third option bcz thats unfair to his brother. Then the Sairat chemistry held me on. But the way he blamed Sai for destroying his life, the same life that was saved by her father. She never asked him to marry her. Since then there were instances destroying his character. The red flag after all the yellows and ambers was definitely the ousting one. There was no redemption for that, even if Sai was at fault. That ruined his character for me.

Red flag:when virat called pakhi pyaari cheez....sai lost her father ...became orphan but he was only thinking about his 2 day attraction...highly insensitive

Despite this red flag, that too in their initial stage, I shipped them so hard. Somewhere in my heart, I still want them to end up together. I fell prey for the beautiful chemistry. I loved them so much

Huh, the joke is on me. More than Virat, it's me who is coming across as toxic

Oh yes, there was apost on it all by a fellow member, which went on till 60 pages. Everytime Virat takes a downward step, I remember that post.

@bold 2 Well yes for me as well, when he joined hand with someone who has abused his wife in order to get back at her and in turn abuse her, Sairat was dead for me.

Him giving a immoral vaada to his brother's wife and continue to assure her that he will abide by his promise even after he married to someone else itself a sign of immoral and loose character person. Everything is secondary. This show romanticised his disgusting vaada. If we observe keenly it is virat who lack morals not pakhi. She was sane enough to respect his marriage with sai in initial phase but it is him who gave her the right to intrude in his married life. For eg: she was decent enough to knock before entering when he is speaking to his wife, but it is him who said you don't need to knock. This itself shows who is loose character. After that him manipulating sai to drop her idea of shifting to hostel, asking karishma to drag sai physically during alta, shamelessly saying ok to his brother's wife idea of packing their things in same bag that too infront of his wife, asking sai to not participate in dance just because she praised aniket. There are many things like these which we ignored because of other good scenes and good direction. Virat character isn't butchered. He is like this since beginning. It's just that we couldn't recognise. He is abusive and immoral since beginning. It's shame that such character is ml.

I have always mentioned, Pakhi the beast was a result of Virat and his assurances. Pakhi had accepted the marriage and was convincing Sai for it, until Virat and his vaada assurance happened.

That's the very reason I'm never into this character... So superficial 🐷
