It's great that the show is done with 400. But I hate it when articles speak about men in terms of roles they play and positions they hold but don't do the same for women.

"Lead actor Neil Bhatt but "Beautiful actress" Ayesha Singh and "Gorgeous" Aishwarya Sharma. Women are limited to their physical attributes no matter how amazing they are at their job. This not just takes away the focus from their work but also limits their value to their beauty..

Both yogi and Neil addressed as actors where as Ayesha and Aish called "Beautiful" and "gorgeous ".Even in this era woman are objectified..

Exactly...because if you see from the article's POV, remove beautiful and gorgeous, there's no recognition. It's horrible that the show is actually spreading patriarchal oppression and things like these translate them from reel to real.

Ayesha Singh is a damn good actress and she deserves to be called that. No matter how much we dislike Aishwarya, she's still a woman who deserves respect that isn't limited to physical standards

But guys Kishore mam is also a women.She is addressed as a veteran actor....They mentioned about aish and ayesha's physical appearance cause they are young....And also everyone knows thier worth.. It's not like that as you guys are thinking....Gender discrimination doesn't happens between actors.IF said that just casually...

That's even worse..just because someone is young it doesn't mean they're subjected to unjust standards. Age has nothing to do with outward appearance or talent. Beauty is irrespective of age. Being a veteran doesn't make Kishori ji ineligible for being called out gorgeous and being young doesn't mean Ayesha and Aishwarya are known only for their beauty.

And they address Neil as the the lead actor. Neither Ayesha nor Aishwarya get a reference for being leads

Acting industry is one of the places wher highest gender discrimination happens. Be it plot, character arcs, pay parity or recognition.

I don't blame IF because that's how the society is trained to be. We recognize achievements of men and undermine women by associating them with beauty standards

For once refer to Ayesha as the lead actress of Ghum IF.
