Those villagers😡...after ousting when sai goes to GC and they show them welcome her, literally fighting for keeping sai and UM at their homes, it all looked so superficial. Yeah, but that's the reality...no one wants to take responsibility of other people's kids or other relationships...they are treated as burden...heck, for that matter, people don't like guests overstaying at their houses and I won't blame them too... It depends both on the guest and the residents. And taking responsibility of a young girl is a big thing...kuch ucha nicha ho gaya to log kya kahenge...Virat is better in that aspect but extreme, he takes pleasure in taking zimmedaaris when people want to be relieved of them. All villagers represented the patriarchal society and Usha maushi the head of them...I am glad she never came back and was not re-casted, she was never Sai's support/ family but a burden who made her weak, a true Damadji fangirl. And how shameless she was, got rid of Sai by getting her married to Virat, and then tagged along with her to her in-laws, saw the type of treatment sai got, still told her to adjust and teamed up with them.

No need to apologise for ranting, I understand your thoughts, frustration and hate for most of the characters if the show, I feel the same.

I would have still tried to understand them had they not claimed, time and again, to care for Sai and pretend as if they were her family. Family is the one which cherishes and protects you, not get you married just days after you lost your father and committed suicide. If they really cared, they would have kept her near them, not throw that young girl to face her own battles.
