2 bugs from the Pandora box - Help me

There are so many questions that have clouded our minds wrt Ghum. Tracks, plot, acting, editing, direction, dialogues, costumes and the list goes on. But I will save myself and the others from dwelling on the infinite doubts and queries. Putting up only two prime ones that are currently running up on my mind.

Sympathy/Empathy - Before going on to the second part of this question, first I want to understand when a show is written what is the purpose of writing a certain plot or sequence? Is it to invoke certain emotions from the audience/viewers or is it only restricted to characters involved? Because if its only supposed to be a chain reaction of actions and reactions among the characters only and nothing to do with viewers and their sentiments, all my questions die down right here. If not, where is ghum heading? Or are they flag bearers to a different genre where they have built their own cocoon and are least bothered weather or not the audience agrees. Its my way or highway!! Take it or leave it. Or else why are they hell bent on pulling down Virat so much and trying to forcefully show his pitiful and helpless state to redeem him to a level where everyone will be guilt stricken and probably at his feet apologising for the “Gold heart” he is who was wronged by them. And that too when majority of the viewers after knowing the complete truth cant sympathise with him? If the audience just cant connect with emotions how will they justify his act as redeemable? Is it sympathy or empathy that they want from us? Because I cant even sympathise, empathise is not even a long shot.

The two promises that are now overlapping - Virat has acknowledged that Shruti and Sai are capable of managing on their own. How does he prioritise Shruti here. Both are promises made by him. One to his guru who sacrificed his life for him and the other to a friend turned naxalite who had himself aimed a gun on him, but eventually got shot by Virat. So there Sai scores. Then the baby, yes that is definitely a point where Shruti scores with her medical condition. One all. Danger/Life threat - Shruti will be arrested and the baby will suffer the consequences. But on the other hand, the naxalites may be on a look out for revenge. How does he know that they won’t target Sai? Esp when she moves out and stays alone? I think here my personal feelings would have been the bonus points, but what bonus points did Shruti get from Virat? Now Shruti is a naxalite, ex or not is questionable. How is taking up this risk, not just on his family but to the citizens of the country? Will he take the accountability if she escapes and goes back to her old life? Who is answerable if she endangers some lives? *Sada only asked Virat to help Shruti with her delivery, but it was Virat who went ahead and promised to look after them*

I would actually want Sai to be kidnapped to prove this and to cut down the “mount mahaan” being built up! He can then be accused of risking Sai’s life. But guess even here they would put the blame on Sai that she moved out🤷‍♀️
Anyone has answers please enlighten me🤯

All valid questions which is exactly what has been reiterated on the forum over n over. No answers from ghkkpm or makers in terms of the way the story bis unfolding. Virat's position and pov is utterly stupid so theres no logical person that could understand his pov. It sucks that eventually they will make Sai feel guilty. She has made no mistakes. She gave virat enough n more chance to explain. To at least reassure her that he loves her and she is his priority but Virat is blind.

As viewers, we can see the gaping holes in this track right from the day it began . On top of it, shoddy writing with meaningless dialogues.

Both leads have given their worst performances in the history of this show- ML being a lot worse than the FL. But I will give them both a little bit of benefit of doubt here . If we as viewers are not able to connect to what is being shown on screen, I feel, as artists , they both might be finding it hard to give life to whats written on paper. This is the most senseless track!

The actual culprits are the Creatives. They brought MiMo track so beautifully to an almost-culmination point but then decided to bring Sruti track into it which spoiled everything . It ruined all that was built up till then. They killed their own baby.

Now its an uphill task to redeem Virat, wrap up Sruti’s track decently and move towards Sairat confession.

If they truly care about the viewers, I assume they will work hard to bring together everything in a very convincing, super creative way. But on the hand, if they dont care, they will whitewash Virat with tubs of Surf Excel , make him cry buckets, make Sai look stupid and end this track in the ugliest way possible.

I have made up mind that I will pretend Sruti track never happened just like that stupid Pulkit kidnapping track when Neil was off due to Covid.

I personally agree with everything except FL giving wirst performance. Apart from some blips here n there in my opinion Sai has given a standout performance. She is the reason people like me are actually watching. If she didn't deliver a good performance there'd be nothing left in the show.

This whole track is CRAP. The makers have royally screwed up.

But Ayesha as Sai in my mind is the anchor desperately trying to keep this sinking ship afloat.

Virat always says things which he don't follow anytime ..He always hides things ..woh kulke kuch bhi bolta nahi ..starting he yahi problem hai uska ..kehte hai in my language "puchne se pehle maa bhi khana nahi lagathi "Why he always adds more

Sai's nature is like she always questions but virat never answers her questions ..Drama ko kheench the hai bas..

I feel very sad for her emotional torture always they blame her this time bhi virat ban jayega mahaan ..woh hogi jungli ..they r all jungli she is not

If nothing else, he could have come clean on her right and space in his . Here also he kept questioning her and served his favourite jalebis

Based on my limited but a little ITV experience, if this show wasn't a copycat - most probably Shruti will likely be dead by the end of this track & Virat taking up Sahas as his new zimmedaari, living away from family (most likely thrown out), as everyone misunderstood him (his thought process). Either dismissed from police service or on an indefinite leave/suspension.

Leap of say 5-10 years - Sahas is all that Virat has now in his life. Sai is now engaged or about-to-be proposed by a colleague or someone similar. She's a well known doctor, probably India's top doctor (ITV standards). She probably has some contact with V's family, may be Mohit or Sam.

Rest of the story builds on how they again meet again & how they get to know the truth of each other. While Pakhi becoming the hurdle in trying to keep them away.
