Just skimmed through all the posts.. Everyone is right about the current story line ..

However I believe in every show there will be something that squirm audience.. Because that I'd what make the story keep going.. But in Ghum its like repetitive cycle.. Virat does something stupid and then Sai ends up being in trouble..

Virat in the current track is totally illogical and insane. .it doesn't make any sense for him to be guilty for killing his Maoist friend.. If he hadn't kill him some other police officer would have done the honor.. On top of that the person he is sheltering in the name of friendship also an extremist.. That makes him more intolerable.. Virat seems like a person who has grown physically but his mental growth is still like one of those juvenile.. He is ready to risk his job, his marriage everything for the sake of so called long lost friendship.. If he had requested his department to provide especial care given shruti's current condition then it would make more sense ..His character is so cringe even shruti and p* look better than me..

My favorite track would be when Sai bai finally gets out of Virat's emotional clutches. .this man truly not worth investing any precious times on him.. If he takes his life for granted how can he trusted as a life partner.. Aai, Devi or Samrat all love her for their own reason.. Because some think she is right for Virat or Some think she is right for the family..

Agree to some extent. But Sai staying in CN will only remind her more n more of Virat. What she needs is a change in scenery entirely. She needs to be away from Virats room, their memories in CN n pp, sonali, karishmas toxicity, aai/devi's emotional superstitions and rona/dhona. Plus if Virat us asked to leave we will get the cringe of him living with Shruti. 🤢🤢🤢

You know what the problem is, not Virat going to Shruti leaving a shattered sai (maan liya vaada is important, so is zimmedaari) but the bigger problem here is he just being happy with his new family, forgetting his real wife/ love and the drama that just happened. The track and character can be made acceptable if they add a monologue or nuances but the guy just goes and plays house with his fake wife and kid happily...there is no distress on his face...no flashbacks, nothing.

I agree. He is showing no remorse nothing for hurting so many people in his life. And neither is he reflecting upon his actions. I wonder how they will take it ahead. 🤔

The problem is not the vaada.. but the amount of sacrifices he is willing to make and the same ones on which all the previous dramas have occurred.

Also, it doesn't look like he is doing all this in majboori but sure looks like he is living with Sai and his family in some kind of majboori. The peace he had on his face while with saahas and Shruti in this situation is unacceptable. The dialogues, the expressions are so cringe that anyone will think that Virat shruti are married couple and saahas is their child and that's what makes the whole prospective track of Virat going to live with Shruti unwatchable.

This whole narrative that Virat is helpless, stuck in a difficult situation makes NO sense whatsoever. He has chosen to pretend as of this is some really difficult position. He is hellbent on convincing himself that everything he is doing is for Sai, for his family, for Sada, for Sahas, shruti - sab ki bhalai. But really its not.

It makes no sense.

The fact that he is putting his career n relationship at stake for a fugitive instead of protetcing her in a legally acceptable manner is ridiculous. If she turned state approver and surrendered , Virat could actually do his job and also ensure safety of shruti n the kid. The makers have made a mockery of provisions in law for women, pregnant women. Law is to punish fir criminal activities but not to be inhumane. Its so distressing that a character who is an ACP in a prime time show on national tv is doing utter crap. Yes they can get some creative liberties but this - this behavior of a police officer reeks of utter ignorance. What is the message they are sending out? That its fine to get carried away in emotions and go against your duty. Instead of upholding the law he is now breaking it and whats worse is that he has ZERO guilt or shame. He is constantly saying- I know I am doing the right thing. How is it right for him to shield and allow a woman who is wanted for questioning on her criminal activities which probably involve HUGE charges such as sedition, murder etc. to go scot free?!

Also his claim that he is protecting Sai from being accomplice in his illegal act makes no sense because technically if he did tell her, it would count as marital privelege.

She cannot be forced to testify against her husband on the basis of a priveleged communication between a husband and wife.

But makers have used NO dimaag in this track.

Now not only has he done one illegal act of sheltering a fugitive, he has also committed anlther crime by giving false information in hospitals/hotels claiming that Shruti is his wife while being married to Sai.

So Virats list of mindless actions is just increasing day after day. And all we have is crying Sai, supporting characters who are on Sai's side with no value addition, self victimizing and stupid Virat, loud/crass and insensitive side characters and 2 utterly stupid characters who have no consistency in their actions- pp n Shruti. They both make zero sense. And they are a pain to watch on screen.

And its amazing that makers portray all this in a pro Virat manner and there is audience out there that actually laps it up and supports Virat too- matlab hadh hoti hai bewakufi ki.
