I really do not understand Virat. But to fair, I never quite understood him.
Starting from the beginning: This idiot does a Vada to his honewali vahini to not get involved with other women (which totally raised red flags in all possible directions)
He really did not do anything sensible (at least according to my definition) in this whole series.
He has this compulsive disorder to keep secrets from the people who will get more affected by that secret.
He just never learns from his mistakes
But now, He is playing the victim card along with doing borderline evil things to a 19 year old girl.
He is wallowing himself in self pity that it is almost delusional. I understand that he is heartbroken(?), but his character is not given proper points.
Neil is a good actor.. because whenever I see him expressing HIS pain, I immediately want to smack him and show his reality.
I really feel there could have been better ways to express his heartbreak(?) without turning him into a pshyco. The writers could have easily went the route of 'ek-tharafa-pyaar' and made a much more compelling and emotionally engaging route.
P.S. Many might ask me why I doubt about Virat's Heartbreak(?), I just feel it was not much effective(my personal opinion though). If he was so much in love with her, then he should not have taken the rejection that harshly. Instead he should have tried to understand Sai (as he calls himself more mature than her)and find out the reason for her misunderstandings and clear them. (My personal opinion). for me his love came out a little shallow (almost a better sequel to yoga love)
