A General Question about Sai, Virat and Sairat

This is a general question and not in relation to todays and in hindsight related to the show as a whole as we near 300 episodes: does Sai get a bit more 'choot' or leeway cuz she is only 19 years old? Virat does alot of things wrong and we call him up on it yet do we sometimes judge Sai's errors to be down to her age and lack of experience in dealing with such matters yet not address her errors the same way we wud if we say Virat made the errors?

Its just something I have notice the past few months so thought to share my point and get your views.

I feel that Virat gets a choot because he is a very soft spoken guy, is a very emotional guy, stays mum unlike Sai, keeps getting hurt and also shows his hurt all the time and also because he behaves like a gentleman sometimes. I am not sure who gives Sai a leeway.

If after whatever he has done, he gets a leeway, people will understand Sai after whatever she is made to go through in her life, in CN and in Virakhi’s life. She is not in Virat’s life but in Virakhi’s life. That is the truth of the girl and that is why people understand her pain and her hurt. If Virat has so much respect for Pakhi, what can one do?

Anyway, as I have said I didn’t know or never felt that Sai gets a choot, neither in the show nor in the forum.

We as in fans ? Some of us we do criticize her. In the show no one tries to explain her that she is wrong because she is a bachchi. 😆

Sai does not get choot , definitely not in the show, nor on the forum.....And she is not defended when she is wrong...The issues is Virat makes mistakes on a daily basis...Just like today he could have shut himself when Sai denied to take Pakhi's gift...there was no need to taunt...he could have blasted Pakhi for touching him ...but no he wont say... Usually Virat's actions are justified in the show and in general if you see even in SBS , calling Sai ziddi, naasamajh and brash... He is a soft spoken guy...cries at the drop of hat..So he gets the sympathies...He has been forgiven for gravest of grave things, because he is soft spoken.. He speaks things in a soft tone, Sai is absolutely blunt.. Bas..

She anyway is abused way too much by her husband , his best friend and very mature Bhabhi and ofcourse the by family "that respects and loves her"....Compared to that her mistakes are miniscule...

Thank you to all who have responded. I agree Virat makes loads of mistakes and he should be held accountable. I just feel the only mistake Sai has made in recent times was stopping his transfers as Virat, be it in emotion or not, made the decision to take a transfer. It was his decision to make as he wanted a break and needed to get away. Sai shud have just let it happen and not interfere. She lives her life as she wants and he does the same.

Actually Pakhi is the one who gets the most leeway in the show. Dialogues are twisted to make her seem just 'dealing' with her bad luck.

Virat is definitely bashed. But he ends up behaving in an extreme manner everytime he and Sai have a disagreement!

Sai also gets bashed and punished in the show everytime she pushes her limits. Ladakh fight which was not her fault, he held her hand because she continued to remain angry.

Devkit wedding which she dealt with very badly, she got thrown out.

But I am surprised with the anger against her in this track because her fault is she is denying her love! That falls well within her rights. Is there any need to lock her or insult her??? Yes, be indifferent, be exceedingly formal..but humiliate her in front of a woman who is clearly crossing all limits of decency? And Virat knows Pakhi's truth better than anyone else.

Her interference in the transfer was definitely wrong. But she is getting punished for all that she did wrong, including refusing to accept Pakhi's change of heart. Where is the choot being given to her??

Not to forget how she is told by everyone, how badtammeez, besharm and jungli she is.. How khudgarz she is...She has been told to an extent that she has multiple times broken down and has also started believing that she is not a nice person...to be with...

Both Sai and Virat are called out, Virat > Sai only coz he does crimes against Sai vs Sai who thinks she can is always right and does things that eventually work in her favor.

I blame Virat more than Sai because of all the people in the house, Virat knows what Pakhi did, does and wants and still lets her do and say everything and I dont understand why he allows her to do that. Can we get a monologue for him on why?

Even if we forget everything thats happened between Sai and Virat and just look at yesterday's episode - tshirt scene, he was shocked that it was Pakhi and not Sai, but his first reaction was did someone see this and look around? Since no one saw them, he was fine with Pakhi's behavior. So she will continue to do it.

Yes. That move of her didn't get gel with me too because: a. No one should interfere in anyone else's career. NO ONE.

b. She might say it for the family but she herself didn't want him to go. Might as well had told him that.

Otherwise I don't think Sai has got leeway anytime because of her age. Infact all her actions have been labelled as 'unwanted' and she has been branded as 'nasamajh'

The answer to your question is yes . It’s also because in the show there are no tracks which call her out for her mistakes so her mistakes are whitewashed in the name of having good intentions. It’s also true that when ever Sai makes a mistake , they will make Virat do some kaand and call him out openly . It’s a way to whitewash the FL .
