Jagtap’s intent behind locking up Sai in a room cannot be compared to Virat’s.

Both can be termed as crime but in different form.. Both Jagtap and Virat locked Sai for different purposes..Virat was holding Sai's hand but let it go..Whereas Jagtap literally assault her..

What Virat did was domestic abuse and jagtap did was sexual assaults..

Well explained! Both domestic violence and sexual assault are very sensitive topics & hugely observed in our society in one form or another.

Justifying either is kind of making a mockery of the real issue.

One cannot be countered with the other, they are both very deeply affecting topics & the makers should not pass it off as comedy and justify it atleast.

And saying a victim asked for it is highly insensitive in any case.

People need to calm a little before blindly defending any sides & keep in mind the lines blurring between reel and real on sensitive topics.

One form of abuse is not a counter for another abuse!

Irrespective of the gender victim blaming should be avoided and sensitive issues should not be trivialized . Saying he/she led them on so deserved to be abused/ stalked is insensitive. Any kind of abuse against any character in the show should be discouraged . Selective criticism is dangerous

I read on twitter that Neil deliberately manipulated & misinterpreted Sai's pov, ig Sai directly mentioned in the episode Pakhi's intention being impure, nowhere she implied family but he conveniently converted into family's niyaat even said Sai has kept her own reasons to herself only (as always just to save Pakhi's character in the latest byte where Aish was present (so makes why especially in her presence or absence Neil would always cover up & divert it by twisting to safeguard Pakhi's character cus he can't say anything -Ve against Pakhi) anyway even if he's done that, not surprised cus previously he's badmouthed Sai in IVs (ig Ayesha wasn't present there or not I'm not sure, forgot it) & defended Pakhi ample number of times in past even few months back wrote on his IG story Pakhi's care & love for Virat is same as Sai's for Virat. Ofc be it on or off-screen he has to & will protect Pakhi at any cost. Professionalism at it's best, literally screaming 😭

Infact he was mockingly saying that Sai bolti rehti hai ki woh hamesha family keliye yeh kiya woh kiya. Sai ne kab bola aisa? It's ViRakhi's internalized traits to jatao & count how much they've done...

I agree laksh. Jagtap and Virat's actions cannot be compared. Jagtap was trying to sexually assault Sai when he locked her inside her house.

I think a lot of us were very disturbed and upset by the domestic abuse shown yesterday.

Ofcourse these two were not comparable , I dont think the post maker was equating the two, I guess she was trying to say how both cases are abuse.. The first one had more to with intentions of molesting her, violating her...the second one was to tame her..

[Blocking happened before the quoting and sorry I had to quote the post to talk about the video that was posted . Well putting them together and saying there is no difference is same as comparing . Thank you for sharing your views on this post asmi_joya

@404

No issues. If you blocked me I guess, the intention should also to not be bothered by what I post. So I would sincerely request you to not quote me as well. I would not be able to reply back in the manner I have been quoted. Would not prefer that. Thanks in advance 😊

Thankyou for editing the quoted part. Should go both ways 😊
