So I was right to say, shooting for them has become nothing but a couple's retreat. I didn't expect a professional like Neil to say something like this. Wow

I don't understand. If he's asked how it feels to work with his life partner what is he supposed to say ?? "I hate working with my partner ." ??

Didn't Jensen Ackles say his favorite costar is Danneel Harees ( his partner ) when asked in a Supernatural con . No body called him unprofessional.

What is Neel doing that makes him unprofessional?? He promotes the show and pairing sufficiently. Does Gashmeer Sir promotes his pairing with his lead actress more than Neel does ?? No. And no body expects of him. In fact , he has said many times that he's more friendly with the 2nd lead actress as they're may be of same industry, age group etc. He shares a warm professional and a bit of mentor type relation with Subool. Nobody dares to call him unprofessional for it ??

Neel is consummate professional. He started working for the show when he was hardly convalescent after covid doing 14 hours shifts daily in extreme heat because trp tanked without him. Have some sense.

My fingers are itching to type something..but we might get a warning from mods..

Like I have said I have only invested in the onscreen and it only bothers me when that is affected, because I’m investing my time there.

But your brief also brings me to mention the contrasting views. I have come across so many couples in my professional life who have fallen in love and married someone from their workspace. But they have agreed that it kills their personal space and interaction with the larger group and socialising. Because you are expected to be with your better half and the others distance themselves from you thinking you are ignoring them. It becomes complicated in office environment. Maybe its different when you are shooting 🤷‍♀️😝🤣

Me and my partner used to work in the same company, no one, absolutely no one at work had a clue about our relationship because we kept things strictly professional and didn’t let it affect our conduct, that also allowed us to build a great relationship with our colleagues.

It wasn’t until someone seen us going home together in his car one day that they realised 😅

it’s okay to work with your partner, but I think when you are in a work environment, your relationship with your partner should not affect your work ethic or the standard of your work, or even your relationship with your other colleagues. In most places you have to work as a team so you have to have a good rapport, if you spend 100% of your time with your partner, when are you going to have time to build rapport with others.

Ya. Everyone has a different take. But as long as one is able to maintain the balance all is well.
