I agree with all of these points. I have personally witnessed such dynamics in my own family. Every single character yesterday acted within their character sketch in my opinion. Everything was to be expected.

Also, from the POV of the elders, Pakhi has been the ideal bahu over the past year. She has upheld tradition, supported their every decision, done the house's chores, etc, etc.... all of these things have shaped their perception of her too.

I would have liked to see at least a moment of shame from them, though. Leaving everything else aside, they have just come to discover that their son, who they claim to have been desperately missing, left the house because his wife and younger brother "deceived him." Shouldn't this cause people as orthodox as the Chavans to feel humiliated? But then again, they all clearly knew the truth already, as demonstrated by their reactions. They were just choosing to brush it under the rug, which they are basically continuing to do now.....

Please erase the 2nd paragraph from your comment yaar. Just can’t read it🤣🤣.

@bold I agree. Totally an unexpected reaction. I actually wanted to watch how Omi and Kaku would react to it especially after the way they behaved with Sai when she had said the same. I thought I will get to see how shamelessly they will just believe it but I was proved wrong by them acting this way.

But when they didn’t care that their own daughter stayed in their house after losing her mental stability because of what they had done, I don’t know if this is going to move them in anyway. The way Kaku reacted during the skit itself is unbelievable. I had ranted so much about this the day they were whitewashing Kaku and gang actually.

True, they chose to brush it under the rug. They are namoonas actually. Even if they plan to support Pakhi to save their name, would they not once ask Pakhi anything? I found Sonali’s reaction to be better. She immediately blamed Pakhi that she had brought a daraar between two brothers. She would have later kept quiet when these people started to question Samrat I think.

@bolded: Yaar, this is exactly what I have been trying to talk about. Sonali, of all people, called out Pakhi. But, Mohit and Shivani and Ashwini stayed silent? It's not about bashing Pakhi. It's about just simply asking her a few questions after hearing what Samrat has said. Or showing some expressions of shame at the bare minimum. Nothing is to be expected from the rest of them...but I really would have liked to see at least SOMETHING. I am just not okay with what is being shown here. I'm sorry for the rant.

Actually after going through all these comments, I couldn’t get myself to watch the entire episode. I would have been able to share my views had I watched whatever you are saying. I am sorry. I just watched a few clippings. Also, this washing powder Nirma is something that I felt when Sai was worrying about Pakhi having food and also when she was walking on the road after the anniversary celebration fight. I wonder if these were in KD or not. If it was, it looks like the writer herself wanted to whitewash the character so that they can show Samrat accepting her in the future.

We can try to make sense with the behavior of these people in today’s episode even now but if these weren’t there in KD, then it surely is white washing and no point in even trying to make sense out of these. That is another reason why I don’t even feel like watching the episode.

@ bolded: Exactly yaar. 🤢

Also, save yourself the headache of watching the episode. Quite literally. The camera shots when Samrat was confronting Pakhi (the only scene worth watching) made me dizzier than a ride at an amusement park does 🤣

I had watched that clipping. Sofna had shared it in EDT.

Bolded - Exactly apart from Shivani and MB everybody knows their history… no one asked her a single question.. instead everyone pounced on Sam on his decision to divorce..

Kaku brought her to Virat last time when Sai confronted n she threw a tantrum and did not eat.. will she ask Sam to feed her this time?? And we should watch it with our teary eyes.. Let us see what happens in today’s episode.. I bet nothing…

My original problem with these 3 coming to talk to Pakhi was from the standpoint of the makers. These are the 3 people who know Pakhi's intentions and how she has behaved in Samrat's absence, and now they are being sent to sympathize with her. I agree that they are kind hearted and I was not expecting them to bash her in this moment, because they see that she is "hurting" too. But, I still believe that it would have been better for the makers to send Kaku and even Mansi to Pakhi instead. The entire thing was off putting and kind of odd in general.

But, leaving that aside. I understand that they are acting as neutrals and trying to problem solve here. But, Pakhi is crying over the divorce, acting as if she has been completely wronged, throwing Virat and Samrat under the bus to save herself. If they remain silent in the face of all of this, that is not acting neutral nor acting as a problem solver. They are not Trimurthi who have always blindly looked past Pakhi's faults. They have always called out wrong. Sunny remaining silent makes sense, because he is Virat's best friend, and Virat himself is remaining silent. Sunny does not want to reveal anything or say anything that could make Virat upset or pain him further. But, in terms of Shivani and Mohit... if this conversation continues into the next episode, I would really like them to at least say a little something to remind Pakhi that she is not entirely innocent here... They are asking Pakhi what she wants to do next, which is fair. But, they also need to keep in mind that Samrat is deeply hurt and be cognizant of his feelings too- only then can they come across as neutral problem solvers.

Generally during disputes, neutrals will tend to stay away from blaming. Even if the party that is more at fault, does blame the other - they generally listen without interruption - not because they are blind to their fault but becausw the aim is to find a solution rather than point out who is right and who is wrong.

Yes Pakhi was blaming Samrat. But as far as the trio is concerned, Virat and Pakhi had a past, but Samrat leaving without even telling her anything was wrong. When they speak to Samrat, the will consider his pain. The are looking at both POV.

If you see in that scene, by the body language and expressions, the one who is least bothered by her "pain" is Sunny - because he is the only one who knows most of the details. The moment she starts acting too dramatic saying I'm being held responsible for Samrat leaving, Sunny does stop her aptly that no matter what it's a fact that Samrat left because he got to know about Virakhi. He didn't blame her but stated the facts without taking sides. This is what I want them to continue doing - if the scene continues. Stop her BS when she starts acting like a drama queen.

Also, they may interpret Pakhi's crazy actions as coming from her disappointment and not being able to move on - even as they disapprove of her actions. So according to them, resolving this issue will be a win-win for all.

As to why these three and not trimurtis, I'm still curious about the purpose of this scene...let us see how it plays out in the next episode.

Yaar I agree with your analysis, but it won't change the fact that the makers did this intentionally to whitewash Pakhi... that's why I gave up on even trying to see what their intentions/motives were 🤣

Anyways, today's episode was wayyyyy better and they actually had some worthwhile lines. But, yet again, the Sai-Samrat conversation was reduced to 5 minutes, while the rest of the episode was dedicated to Pakhi's pain. This is just not done.
