Yes, I am going to leave..

NOT the Forum, not watching the serial...😆

I am going to leave Virat and Sai alone ....and take on the role of a spectator for this phase.

Firstly, I am fed up of these two constantly misunderstanding and hurting each other. It is triggering and upsetting and makes me question my sanity because I wake up and wait for the episodes and reviews.

This is at a personal level, my level.

Story wise - this is the second time Virat has told Sai he is going to cut off all ties with her. Does anyone remember ?? I had a feeling of Deja Vu when I heard it from him! Difference is this time, he is operating from a space of absolute hurt and is justified. As it is , he is shocked at Samrat's reason for leaving, and is registering the fact that he might have been the reason. Secondly, his wife with whom he has shared his distress about Samrat turns around and tells him, it is all his fault and to top it, maybe he is unhappy because the status quo will be disturbed. Definitely that was below the belt and unwarranted. Sai does not think before talking. I wish she apologises for this outburst. She must! I hope the makers give back the Sai who is honest and fair in judging any situation. It looks like all her fairness and maturity comes to a standstill with Virat.

The same Sai who came running back each time Virat sincerely apologised and mind you this has happened a lot, was shocked when Virat decided to snap all ties with her. It almost looked like she thought they would fight and things would go back to normal like always. She has always had the upper hand in the relationship emotionally because Virat fell in love with her. Now how is she going to handle it when he steps back??

Sai -

Saddest part is Sai has noone to tell her where she is going wrong. She will hurt him, get hurt by him and learn through trial and error what he means to her and understand what she means to him.

She is surrounded by people her so called family who she thinks she loves and some of them love her. Aai, Mohit, Devyani, Pulkit, not one person will tell her anything to help her, not one person will help her. This is her battle to fight. And yes, she has been indulged by Virat as much as harassed by him. She needs to reflect on both. I had no sympathy for her today, though I understood where she was coming from.

Virat -

Understandably he is hurt. And he needs to step away from Sai. But what Sai said to him was not wrong. If she hadn't used those completely irrational words to him, she would have been right in advising that he needs to come clean about Pakhi, to Samrat. Sai is also waiting for those words. Despite his actions, his subconscious actions or non reactions towards Pakhi are causing him a lot of damage. He is protective about Pakhi for Samrat's sake. But that has been misconstrued by even his own mother. Everytime he does something for Sai, he justifies it to Pakhi, why?? From Sai's perspective, he hid the anniversary because he was afraid to spell it out to the whole family that he wants to celebrate his anniversary, especially to Pakhi. he did the same thing for the Ladakh trip...that's where Sai is coming from. He hid it from Pakhi till it all blew up on his face. This is her experience.

Anyhow, there are many ways one can justify both Sai and Virat today. Virat has every right to feel hurt and detach himself. And yes, Sai needs to keep herself away from family. if she is in a deal marriage, why feel so much for the family? She has no business interfering. It is alienating, but she has brought this on herself with her insensitivity towards Virat today.

Tough love sometimes is required, and this time from Virat.

Beautiful post ❤️ I agree with mostly everything and wrote similar points in Neerja's thread 😊

Two things I want to comment on-

1. I agree that Sai's maturity and fairness come to standstill with Virat. But, to me, this is completely understandable. She is entirely overrun by emotions whenever it comes to Virat. All of her rational thoughts go out the door...hence why she spoke such utter and unjustifiable garbage to him today out of the fear of losing him and yearning for him to be her's. On top of everything that has resulted from this messy relationship, Virat is her first love and she is experiencing all of these emotions for the first time without even knowing what to label them or how to deal with them. People often point out that Sai is able to understand everyone's perspective except Virat's. But, I can't even blame her for this because she is so deeply confused about the disconnect between his actions and (lack) of words/clarity.

2. It is interesting that you say that up until this point, Sai has had the emotional upper hand in this relationship. I'm not sure if I can agree with this. Even though Virat has realized his love for Sai already, Sai is also in love with Virat. I feel as though neither of them has had the upperhand. While Virat has always come back to apologize, Sai has been the one to forgive him every time he has royally messed up and pained her... this, to me, requires the same level of "emotional handedness if you will" on the parts of both of them. Virat forgets his ego and completely begs for forgiveness, and Sai forgets her self-respect and accepts him back wholeheartedly. During the fights in which both of them were wrong, neither one of them have actually really apologized to each other. They have just both moved on together because they cannot bear to be separated. I do agree that Sai was expecting things to go back to normal as they always do, hence her expression of utter heartbreak when Virat said he was ending all ties with her. This is why this fight will be the trigger that finally progresses their relationship. Sai will be forced to question why Virat is not going back to normal, and Virat will be forced to question why his indifferent behavior is impacting Sai this deeply. All of their fights in their relationship have rooted back to the vaada and the past in one way or another, and every time, these issues have been left practically untouched. Because, despite the uncertainty of their status as husband and wife, both of them have shared a way deeper bond than that- one of family, friends, being each other's rocks, support systems...but now, Virat is (rightfully) questioning the very root of all of this. Sai has entirely broken him...he feels as though he has no place left in her life. He feels as though she despises him... and in addition to his own hurt, he wants to set her free because he feels as though her happiness is without him.

Completely agree with you. Best way is to just sit and watch what all these 2 idiots are going to do to hurt each other before confessing to their feelings

Beautiful post Scarlett. I feel the same as you. It was a heartbreaking episode and probably a good one too. I managed to watch the full episode and not just the clippings after I wrote my views. I did say that Virat did the right thing by ending it with Sai. It was easier said when I read it in Written update or watched it as a clipping but looked really painful when I watched the episode. Even now I would say that it was in a way good but as Pooja had mentioned somewhere I could see that pain on Sai’s face. It is going to be more painful in the coming days I guess but I hope that all of these ends soon and it leads to something good.

I managed to watch the episode and understood a few things that Sai was doing. I got upset with her as soon as she spoke about Karma.

You, Scarlett, Nethra, Asmi and Neeraja, msin and a lot of people have spoken both Sai and Virat when I was entirely disappointed with her.

@bold you have put this so beautifully.

The last sentence is what I feel and I had written as a reply to Neeraja’s comment in one of the thread yesterday. It is amazing how you are able to write about her today because just like how Scarlett has said, I too understand her issues and her state of mind but I couldn’t get myself to talk about her issues today. Kudos to you that you do it even when you also felt bad for Virat as much as us or even much more than us.

@green I agree and this is my view as well.

@blue Very true. This time the issue has to be only about these two and not anything else, no waada, no Pakhi or nothing else.

Yes, the dialogue about everyone knowing about her weakness when he was convincing her to go on the trip stood out to me too. I feel that people fail to see her love because she hasn’t realized it, but to me, it was so clear that both of them were dying during their fight 😭
