IMO , the Shivani and Devyani’s case doesn’t come under avoiding confrontation. In Shivani’s case he defended his aunt infront of his family and when outsiders were accusing her he stood by her . He would have arrested Amay irrespective of Sai’s involvement or not . So we cannot say he failed to stand up for Shivani

Now coming to Devyani , it’s very easy for people who know both the side of the story to say Virat failed to stand up for her sister . That’s not true . Let’s put ourselves in Virat’s position , he didn’t have any reason to mistrust his aunt , uncle and father version of the story . He never saw their ugly side and have always seen the good side so it’s natural for him to trust their version . Even Aai who took care of Devyani failed to realize the truth . Aai has issues with the trimurthis yet she couldn’t suspect their version . The moment Virat knew the truth he stood by Devyani and was ready to get married against his family . He later changed his Stan not because he wanted to maintain peace or didn’t wanted to hurt his family . He was misled . Sai has only seen the mean side of trimurthis so it was easy for her to believe they can be stoop down to low levels to satisfy their ego . It’s easy to suspect in laws than parents because it’s hard for a child who was pampered and adored to believe his parents could stoop so low where as we don’t really share the emotional connect with in laws

The only time I have seen him avoid confrontation is when there is issue between two family members, mostly the usual lichen fights . He never avoids confrontation for serious issue and best examples are him fighting for Sai’s education , name change , when they wanted Sai to leave CN etc. The other time he avoids confrontation is when he believes the issue can be resolved diplomatically. He doesn’t believe in confronting for every issue .

Hey, I have deleted my post 😊

I think you have misunderstood the point of what I was trying to say, anyways....

I agree that Virat stood up for both Devi and Shivani although he hesitated at first in both instances and needed a push by Sai....

Thanks for the tag Pooja. Always a pleasure to read your posts.

Your take on Virat’s blind love is validated by none other than the man himself who is living the role of Virat. Neil Bhatt!

What more to say?He always pointed out Virat’s blind love towards Sai and his family and now Samrat.

So I feel no one can understand the perspective of the charecter better than the actor or the actress playing the role.I value Neil’s word.

To your credit you are able to see through Virat’s blind love which made him avoid confrontations or revelations.

I agree with your reasoning. It is not because he can not explain..it is creating confusion because he doesn’t want verbal expression rather got stuck towards intended actions.

But Sai and Samrat need word nothing else. Unfortunately Virat won’t realise or I must say he doesn’t want to realise.

I ended up deleting my post because I was afraid that people would misunderstand me to be saying that Virat did not stand up for Devi and Shivani Bua, when that was not the point of what I was saying at all. But, I completely agree with everything you have said here! 😊

The point of my post was to showcase the difference in Virat's love for his family vs. how his love for Sai and Samrat is on an entirely different level....

@bolded: Notice how all of these examples involve Sai. This just goes to what I was trying to show through my post anyways. I think we are on the same page here 🤣
