Sai is unexposed to the ways of city culture and people ,she is very young in age and impulsive by nature. All these contribute to Virat’s overcautiouness in case of Sai.

Exactly this. Both of them are impulsive in their choice of words, which is why both of them say things that they don't mean...especially when they are in the heat of the moment with each other. Even though Virat brought up Ajinkya yesterday and it was also a source of comedic effect, the crux of the matter was his own underlying relationship with Sai.

I'm just scared where we will get an overdose of didi in the coming episodes, since the CVs love her to bits! Its been a pleasant week without her and a very calm one as well.

The dialogue was regressive is what I meant.. they could have done better.. with that dialogue..insecurity is fine and justified..the whole..not handsome.. bujurg and umar ho gayi hai comments are going to come back.and it's fine but that dialogue particularly was regressive and not Virat per se.

They have to come up with something original if they want to salvage this. They can concentrate on some character growth for both the leads. Sai can continue to be oblivious to her feelings and Virat feels insecure enough to not want to confess. Actually even this angle is a bit dodgy - he had decided to confess during holi when he was not even half as sure he is now of Sai's feelings.

I don't necessarily think Sai is oblivious to her feelings. The problem is that she does not know what to label them. When Virat's mission got cancelled, we heard her inner monologue of her saying that she was feeling empty without him and now she feels good again. The way she looks at him and smiles admiringly is full of love whenever he is taking care of her or he does something that touches her. But, because of the vaada, and because of Virat's lack of direct clarification that the vaada means nothing to him now, Sai is herself confused not just about how she feels, but also about how Virat feels. That is why yesterday was the second time that she told him she is trying to understand him but its hard for her.

Wahi so one fails to understand him..he tries to confess and when Sai asks directly he lets the opportunity go.. has done it too many times.. that way they are not being consistent with his character you see..

But yesterday was the first time that Sai asked him so clearly and tried pushing him for an answer. It think a part of him is also scared of rejection, hence why he wants to make Sai realize her feelings too. But, the problem is that Sai has somewhat realized her feelings... she just doesn't know what to label them or what to call herself in relation to Virat...

Sai ko pata hi nahi why she is behaving this way and like teenagers always ready to attack.. her defence is always you want me to go..I'll go.. you won't take the award from me..fine.. she is absolutely touchy and immature that way ..

Yes, leaving the house is her automatic defense mechanism. But we saw how much she has changed yesterday, because the old Sai would have been ready to leave the house had Virat teased her like that... but this time, she got angry and made up excuses to stay... Virat's smile in that scene said it all... he understands her well
