Self Respect - Mine vs Yours

Flashback to the episodes where Pakhi left CN. Virat told Sai that Pakhi’s self respect has been hurt and she holds it ver high. So she will not return. The incident which triggered her leaving the house was something that she initiated. Pakhi had put out conditions for returning back to Virat (that no 1 should insult her again or she will leave forever).

Coming back to yesterday’s episode. Within 2 days of knowing as Pakhi he knew what self respect means to her. He has been with Sai for so long and he could not decipher the same about her. He has been apologising for his misdeeds and for ill-treating her, but the girl had to literally spell it out for him to understand why she does not intend to return. And hence he tells his family that her self respect has been hurt and so she will forgive.

Also, Mrs Maturity cannot take any taunts or insult (“meri bezzati kar rahe” is on loop for her), but she gives a hoot when it comes to others self respect. And all the venom that she spitting out un the end, that Sai is playing gard to get and she wants to make Virat her puppet, I believe these were her very intensions when she had left CN. She could not take it that Virat supported Sai infront of her and she wanted him to beg and plead her to come back. Its her very own mind game that she believes that Sai is also playing. “My self respect is of utmost importance, yours can be thrown to the crows” - seriously?🤮😡

See,I cannot say thay Virat doesn't know that Sai also keeps her self respect high. He knows this.

But,in the case you are mentioning for didi, as in when she left the house. Didi was not this still. Yes,her words were harsh for Sai,but she still had not turned into this vixen version. For then, Pakhi's image in Virat's mind was still of the independent, mature girl he had met at the yoga camp. And the heartbreak of the nakli prem was still raw. So ,he might have said in that aspect probably.

And coming to didi, does she has self respect left in her, cuz,not Sai,but many have done her beizzati after that,including kaku. But,she wants Virat, does not love him,but wants him, and she is blind in this greed.

I agree to each and every line but after Sai came in CN she forgot I think what is Self respect. Her only aim nowadays is to just have Virat with her no matter what level she has to go.

I agree with you that Pakhi’s character was not this negative when she had left CN. But I feel what prompted her action that day was not just Sai, but her own insecurity rooting from Virat giving more importance to Sai and his eventual support for Sai’s stand.

And my comparison on how she is degrading and misconstruing Sai’s intent about holding self respect is in present day scenario. I quoted the old incident to site how she should understand Sai’s perspective about not returning and her self respect ( not that she wants Her ti come back)

But thats my POV and as different individuals we have our own take on things. 😊
