I guess in maharashtrians culture they apply it on the day of wedding after that they won't apply it but MS is more important to them

Correct. All Hindu women go through ‘sindoor pradaan’ or the application of sindoor by hubby as part of the marriage rituals. Thereafter in some cultures like in the south & Maharashtra wearing MS is the prefominant sign of suhaag, and sindoor is not a common practice. Whereas in Bengal sindoor is the predominant sign, plus they have the white-red bangles.

interesting read on culture😊

I wore it on the day of wedding and aftermath wedding rituals after all those rituals end i don't wear it only for occassions like wedding diwali and other festivals i wear it


every marriage ritauls of hindu culture goes through the sindoor pradhan apply by husband after that its not a must some culture do not wear MS too i don't think bengalis wear MS for them sindoor is most important my mom friend is a bengali and she wore only sindoor


i don't observe KC fast due to health issues

Yes it looks quite weird looking at them without sindoor in a HINDI SERIAL...In the new show Mehendi Hain Rachne wali they are mahastrians but wear sindoor the same was in Pavitra rishta may be a way to cut on the budget...😃
