What about romance?

After the news of some xyz couple Roka news broke out. I find the spark in SaiRat scenes missing these days.

Now after separation, KD had lots of romance. What about romance in Ghum?. Do we need to keep it to our imagination only . Because we have a chalta phirta censorboard on set now.

I think Ayesha's injury and roka were around the same time, that could be a reason for the lack of spark. I would like to believe that they are and will not mix their professional and personal life.

Keeping aside all the interviews they give, I think they will do justice to their roles on screen. He is an actor and this is not going to be the only show he is going to act in. He will have lot more coming up in his career. The actress, his mangetar also is an actress and she will also have to act many scenes, so I really doubt what you are saying.

KD had romance? Not exactly, it was really subtle. So far, they have probably shown more scenes in GHKKPM than KD. Also they have been taking it slow because obviously they cannot show Virat moving on too quickly, they also cannot show Sai accepting him getting close to her so easily.

She knows that it was a samjautha and if she lets him in her private space easily would raise a question on hers and Virat's character too.

Let's take it this way, Virat has told her she can leave once she becomes a doctor, she also has been telling herself that, so how can he get close to her or how can she let him get close to her or she herself get close to him?

I think that is why, the original show also had very little romance and they show their transition. They have now started to get attached emotionally and will take their relationship forward gradually.

Virat has to be careful, he will gauge Sai's reaction and only then take a step towards her. He was surprised to see her touching him while giving consolation about Samrat in hospital and then he looks at her to see if she knows what she is doing and when she removes her immediately, Virat gives an expression which said, yeah right how can I forget there is a distance between us and you (Sai) like to maintain it and he respects that.

She trusts him and lives with him under the same roof and bed and he will have to ensure that even his mild advances towards her doesn't let her misunderstand him or doubt his intentions.

Sai's hesitance, insecurity with a jeethi jaathi reminder like Pakhi will always act a wall between them even if not for the pillow wall.

It was a regional show and they always had to be careful about what they were showing, totally a traditional one.

I think the genre romance is to indicate that it is a love story of two people and how their life changes due to circumstances and at the end when another person got linked in their life, how the lives of all three were affected.

i'm going to be honest. irregardless of off-screen stuff or KD even, i do not think this show will ever feature the "passionate" type of romance we see in ekta/gul mata's shows or even other shows 😆

normally male leads pursue things like that but our male lead is 1) an emotional pendulum and 2) is more "soft" in his romance. plus sai's personality is such that i think she'd start laughing if virat did something crazy.

i think that we will get romance once virat specifically has some epiphanies so i would just wait.....this will be a slow, tiring journey 🤪

You are correct with the reasons pointed out on missing spark in Sairat scenes. Another one I got to know a new director has joined the team, and his directed scenes are missing the essence.

For future track, I agree both are professional actors and they would do full justice with their role. Until then, we can live on imagination
