I feel he married Sai to give him cover so he can continue with his extra special relationship with his SIL

Exactly this is what I think. This post is definitely sarcastic but this question has been at the back of my mind from the starting.

I know it sounds comical but hear me out once.

Kamal sir asked virat to take care of Sai. He never outright asked him to marry her, neither implied so.

It was genius Virat who thought he could only take care of Sai if he married her.

Now if Sai were a guy, being threatened by viththal etc and all the same situation like losing house etc.

So then too virat would've thought to marry him?🤣

Matlab humare hero ka shuruat se pech dheela hai. Now look at his audacity saying to Sai, that Kamal sir asked him to marry Sai. Jhootha kahinka!

Edit : This post is a satire if someone didn't understand

in case you were not up-to-date with the news, LGBT is not a crime in India, irrespective of what left & right wing groups cry..

As far as I recall Jagtap was a straight guy smiley24

Just to bring perspective from common thinking in the society - not many question anyone - if someone brings & keeps a boy/male in the house, compared to a girl -> this is not a sarcastic reply but a factual one I guess 🤓

Nice attempt to lighten the situation 😛

I know LGBT relationships are not a crime in india anymore and that's a step in the right direction. The purpose of my post wasn't even LGBT relationships or anything related to it.

I was just virat's hypocrisy. The word marriage wasn't even mentioned, yet he decided that the only way he can take care of Sai is to marry.

I was trying to show how this thinking of Virat is rooted in patriarchy. Had sai been a man, virat would've got a hostel or rented house for him.

But since Sai is a girl, she's automatically abla so she needs to get married to accept anything. This is the rotten thinking I wanted to highlight but you just took things in some other direction only

I'm not defending Virat's marriage action but just stating the general thinking of the society, when it comes to housing a un-married girl in a house. She would be maligned without her fault, people often taking potshots at her.

Had Sai been a man, he would have brought him to his house & stated - this lad's life is in danger, he will stay with us, until his education is completed. None of his toxic family might have had issues with it, unless the guy poke's nose into their business.

I was just stating the facts, not just the sarcasm aspects 😉

Oh sorry I missed to reply to that point. I think if not his home then he could've booked a hostel. Even colleges have hostels, Sai's too.

But if ITV shows had logic, they wouldn't exist.

And yes I too say society is bigoted. But I'm also saying so is virat because he's treating her awfully

marrying people off is a cost-cutting strategy in ITV. Its time consuming & cost draining to have shoots, by showing actors at 2 different locations - so ITV makers find nonsensical reasons to get the leads married.

You can not expect a good ML on a SP, Colors or Zee TV. If you do find one, the show will not last beyond 3 months. Only abusive ML shows will run for years, TRP janta love abusive ML's - earlier they preferred abla nari FL's but lately, they seem to be appreciating strong FL - but ML's still need to be abusive if you want TRP's.

This is exactly what Sai indicated to everyone:

- Virat Pakhi have a past

- Virat didn't marry Sai due to any zimmedari towards Kamal Sir but to hide the first point. He married Sai as soon as Samrat was declared MIA so that they can continue.

- Even Kaku is accepting their relation as they dont like Sai

Exactly this issue is more bigger than this show itself. I'm shocked at how this show got even higer trp after showing all the abusive content. I guess this is what actually sells.

I haven't watched all episodes but as far as I recall, Virat wasn't fully aware that Samrat was MIA, when he was getting married, isn't it ?

Toxicity sells everywhere let it be TRP's or social media.
