Virat is truly in the pits of a hell of his own making. He has no idea what he's doing anymore. From grabbing her, to threatening her, to denying her food, to denying her right as his legal wife b/c she has no solo income, he is beyond making any sense at this point lol. His unravelling is coming in high fashion, and he's truly showing us that he's not Ashwini's son, he is Ninad's son. His mother try as she might, has not been able to save her son from the cruelty, abuse and toxicity that the Chavans breed on a second by second basis. It's so disheartening to watch this man, one that Sai has compared to her own father, fail her every second. She is his WIFE. Yes she's young and yes she's immature, but if you think she's old enough to be married to you then she's definitely old enough to be treated like a PARTNER. But that's where Virat fails, and continues to fail, Sai is the object of his affection but he does not see her as a partner in this marriage. She is someone he has to protect and provide for, and BOTH of those things he's failed at. So what's left? Why is she here? What is the reason that she compromises her sanity to stay in this house? God I HOPE she leaves of her own accord and it's a divestment from the original from which she's kicked out. I hope she packs her bags and lets him rot in his own emotional torture. It is so easy to blame Sai for being brazen, and rude as she can be at times, but to live in a house like this. To be nitpicked, emotionally gaslit, verbally abused, DAY IN and DAY OUT at nearly an hourly basis? It takes someone so emotionally and mentally sound to survive that. The fact that she hasn't had a complete breakdown yet is FORMIDABLE, considering the high stress environment she lives in.
And Virat thinks that bringing her into this hell hole is a favour? God the man is deranged beyond belief. Idk how they're going to gloss over this now. In the original I know Sai is backed by Mohit who talks sense into Virat. But the man should be on his knees begging for forgiveness, because he broke not only the promises and boundaries he'd placed for Sai, but he broke her trust. This entire thing has been a huge exercise in betrayal and confidence in a man she was so happy to at least have by her side. Just STRANGE writing here all around.
