Sai is truly a gem!

This girl is truely a gem! ❤️The very moment she felt that lady in the house was Dr. Pulkit's wife. She decided to leave without creating a scene before her. Sai never even thinks of interfering or messing with other's lives. ❤️She heard Harini (Dr. Pulkit's daughter) call her mom. So she didn't want to proceed any further which would disturb their personal lives. That lady may or may not be his wife but that's a different thing. But Sai's good manners & thoughtful behavior need to be appreciated here because we know how some shameless people in Chavan house keep forcing themselves into other's personal lives despite being reminded again and again.

I found her rude and uncivil.

Initially I felt the same but don't you think she didn't want to dig further into the matter because she had seen the child call the lady mom. Doing so would have been like offering an invitation for him to visit Chavan house. So to avoid all this she must have thought to cut it short and leave abruptly.

First of all I did not understand why Dr. Pulkit invited Sai to his house. If he wanted to genuinely know about Devyani then he could have done it in a better way. First of all he wasn't present in the house by the time Sai reached the place. Whenever some new person is about to visit our house we do not go out. Even after he is back he didn't introduce the lady to her. Usually people assume a relationship by default when they can't see other possibilities. The same thing happened here. Wondering whether Dr.Pulkit ever faced such a situation.

I just gave a long reply to this to Lakshmi's post on another thread. And i also said that Pulkit made a mistake by not introducing the two women. Am posting some parts of that reply here:

Sai has been cold, expressed disappointment, been dejected and even been harsh and impolite-- right or wrong-- but her behaviour has never been uncivil. She was almost rude to the lady who greeted her and showed no real affability for the little girl either...

I think Sai's disappointment was because she was not in the best frame of mind. She was not on her best day today -- her attentiveness and smartness were missing because of a larger turmoil inside her. On a better day, she would have sweetly prodded the lady and got the information, been curious about the missing mother from family photos and joined the dots to try and clear her own misunderstanding -- she also knows that Pulkit has said that his wife deserted him and married someone else and he is the one who's living with her memories -- she has more information that Pulkit perhaps...

I believe Sai invited herself to his house after the class (if i remember correctly). He just added that you could come over for lunch and also asked her to text in case there is a plan change. He had to pick his daughter and he did mention that he had dropped her a message since he thought she would not be coming. He did not get any reply to the dropped message. Introduction done or not , she did not talk to him properly ,did not talk with respect, to someone who is her teacher/professor first and then Devi's ex-bf/husband. That was no way to talk to a teacher/professor. Specially when the other one is not getting offended by your tone and is being patient enough to understand your situation.

@Bold may be I missed this part. But as far as I remember in one of the previous episodes Dr. Pulkit made a deal with Sai. First she would visit him and then he. Actually today Sai did mention that she doesn't want him to come to her house because she can't see him get insulted by her family...

Moreover no teacher/professor would entertain such things...inviting students to home etc. But here Pulkit had to for his own personal reasons. Similarly no student would visit the professor's house just like that but Sai did it for Devyani's sake. Her intention wasn't to have lunch but get some things cleared w.r.t her sister in law and his relationship. I felt she showed her rude behavior to prevent him from coming to Chavan house. We have seen how Devyani trembled in fear when she heard Pulkit name and shouted they would harm him even if she takes his name.

Sai had no place to be angry and jump to conclusions like that. But in a way, I understand why they showed her do so, because she was dealing with a lot of mental stress after dealing with the Chavans and she became a little hyper and impulsive because of adding 2+2 and not really thinking through what was happening. Makes her humane and more of the 18 year old persona she is supposed to portray. We all have had moments where we become rude without intending to be so, say things we dont want to say or mean and have misconceptions that are sorted later. Baat karne ka tareeka hota hai, par wo apne Devi Tai se bahut pyaar karti hai, and seeing her suffering and Pulkit Sir's setting, she reacted the way she did. Not saying it is right, but it is definitely realistic. Feel like now she is going to investigate and get to the root of the truth to reunite Pulkit Sir and Devi Tai, and also apologize for this immediately once her misconception is cleared.
