So she agreed. She was too grief stricken and depressed to think things through. She trusted that virat and the people of GC and usha- who she considers a mother figure will make the best decision for her. Plus virat had assured her that she could leave after 5 years if sge wanted to. He said "main tumhe bandhoonga nahi. Koi rok-tok nahi hogi". And when warning about his family all he said is that they're conservative and they will have expectations from you as bahu. But none of that would have prepared her for the reality of the situation in CM. She didn't anticipate that she would come to this warzone of a house where people d9nt dislike her, they HATE her, they get joy out of seeing her hurt and wont hesitate to threaten physical harm. Not one of them actually walked up to Virat and asked him to leave Sai. Even pp only said what she did as a taunt to Sai. She wasnt concerned about Sai getting hurt or alarmed to see Virat use force against Sai. All she wanted to do was score brownie points for being samajhdaar, trying to resolve conflict. She said the right words but for weong readlsons and didnt really want to diffuse the situation. And Sai never anticipated that she would have to face her deal waali husband's ex lover taunting her nonstop and would have to watch how her husband is caught between his deal relationship with her and his pyaarosti for pp. In between all this he gives her mixed signals of care/affection which virats mother (who should know him best) claims is LOVE for Sai. And she herself by virtue of staying with this man who is good looking, smart and for the most part righteous had started to get emotionally attached to him. Deal hai but shaadi hui hai and she wants atleast the basic respect as a wife. But his support/defense for her is not unwavering. Its s pendulum. He stands by her but has several times publicly called her out as badtameez, akhad, ehsaan faramosh. His anger is a result of Sai's "i don't care" attitude but shes speaking this way because she really doesn't see his "concern for her safety" . She had an argument with him about pp abd he didnt answer any of her straight questions. Instead he is bringing chai as if nothing happened . Sai only sees Ashwini and shivani being genuinely concerned for her. And she spoke to Ashwini very respectfully. Everyone else she knows does not care for her. If Ashwini had spoken up before the hand twisting maybe she would have said ok to virat dropping her. But after everything he did/said and her equally ferocious reaction to it, the situation was out of hand.
And when she comes back looks like again Virat has done no reflection over everything that happened. He can be angry but he should have made a plan for how to talk to Sai when she came back or maybe even completely avoid her so that they could both cool off and talk later once they were both calm. But instead he has run after pp to check on her, amd from precap we know that when Sai comes he is going to attack her again not only with words but by refusing to give food!
How many times he reminded her that it's a dealwali shaadi. That's why she doesn't feel the obligation to share everything. Why should she tell everyone where she is going and what for. No one likes her. Had it been people like Ashwini, she would have tried to explain that she has an important thing to deal with but soon she will tell everyone what it is about.
She isn't expecting anything from Virat but as she has started liking him she feels betrayed that he doesn't stop Pakhi from insulting her. I think that's pretty much normal. She can at least expect respect.
Well will wait for the episode to know if he started the drama or the housemembers. But if it's him then well it looks like he too likes the daily drama like his family.
