He is blissfully unaware about delusional Didi's state of trance and genuinely considers her a friend, excusing her for all the 'dard' of being lonely without her husband. He does not know that she has the dard from the adultery in her imaginary marriage with him. To him, it is her pain from the uncertainty of not knowing what lies in store for her. He doesn't know she doesn't even want to give Samrat a chance... like he said to her during the terrace talk about "tum dono ek doosre ko jaanoge"...

So again, his offer to go to Ladakh is not the problem and even Sai doesn't have a problem with it. But the problem is the @bold part -- when he expects her to be chaste even in a 'joke' with another man, how can he not offer the same loyalty. The thought should have occurred first to look for Sai's reaction. Instead, he even gave PP some understanding nods at the lack of "khushi" 🤢. He did not speak up to say, "give me time to think" or object to the very cringy, direct "shaadi ke baad khushi" "nazaarein dekhna" and his total lack of thought about a possibility of taking Sai even when Mohit and Karishma were offering a family outing. I did not like how he didn't understand Ashwini's suggestion until it was "spelt out" and then he was giving those "arrey-she's-rejecting-me" looks when Sai wasn't even looking at his face while rejecting the idea. 😳😳

@Bold:- i didnt understand that, i am bit slow today so process nahi ho raha. Feelings hasnt changed matlab - this is what i didnt understand mainly???? Is sawal ka jawab dede na janki behen varna neend nahi aayegi

Like i mentioned yesterday, he didnt think of anything while the conversation was going on. He wants to look for his brother and thats the only thought he had. And he did voice that out after all the suggestions that i want to go as i want to look for him. He only had that idea in mind, he did show disbelief at roaming around and thats when Aai suggested to take Sai. Yes he did not think of Sai at that time as according to him he has a very innocent and distressed friend (does not know her intentions).

Now after the discussion tomorrow(precap - its like i am hung up on it), you are giving rose to cover up...you forgot me and all that stuff he needs to understand he just put his foot in the mouth by voluntarily agreeing to go to the trip with his Best friend.

So better do some damage control and avoid the imaginary honeymoon plans

I was thinking about it a couple of days..Sometimes in my team , the most smartest person with high IQ, hears everyone's inputs and then speaks only when he needs to drive the point to closure. It might not even be immediate at times leaving me frustrated. So could be, Virat was not in the moment to respond back immediately..Probably was rushing to work or to drop off Sai at college..He has it registered and will revert at appropriate time..unlike me, who is sometimes impulsive without hearing the entire scenario

Yes, maybe you're right. He might revert back at the right time and give the delusional Pakhi a huge surprise.

@Bold - Now i agree with that thought. He knew his immediate response wouldn't help in both the scenarios at home to the family and to madam Sai who questioned him in the car. He has to be tactical. Hopefully he will (Writers karlena reham, nahi toh yahan sab chappal haath mein leke khade hain). As he was trying to cut the discussion by saying, let my leave get approved and then I will plan but everybody were jumping the gun, first Aai, then Sai and finally Vaihni. In the end he said the same line the 3rd time, i will make the arrangements.

I get your point about speaking at the end to drive a point of closure. He has done that in the past during logical arguments over important matters but this time it wasn't due to high IQ. It was merely due to the need to avoid conflict. He has been muddled since the Amey episode and lacking conviction during arguments. He did not need to say anything much except object with his usual "Kaku please" at least when Sonali compared his actions for "junglee biwi" with Samrat and then 5-6 din ki chutti for the vahini's missed honeymoon-- why does he remain silent at these provocations against his wife now? He needed to object to the 'honeymoon', instead of adding "Maine nahi kaha main tumhare saath nahi aana chahta, Pakhi".. even after Ashwini's discomfort was visible. Even if he did not even think about Sai, he shouldn't have given that "oh, how sad" look to vahini when the "shadi ke baad ki khushi" was being discussed.

My issue with the whole scene was that it has become his second nature to get offended and demand utmost loyalty in thought, action and words from Sai so why hasn't it become his immediate response to think about what she would make of his silence where he should object and offer where he should refuse? Baaki, for all I care, he can go alone with the Vahini because he's going to fob off her indecent moves anyway. But don't come back and throw fits at your wife for liking someone else's song. Double standard.

Rephrasing it:

The problem is not with his "pyaar karti ho kya?" dialogue because his newfound feelings for Sai or his friendship feeling for Vahini has not changed-- his intention was not to go on the honeymoon but to find Samrat so it didn't come as contradictory to his question about "mujhse pyaar karti ho?" That is where his heart is now... It is about one-way display of loyalty and insensitivity to her feelings --of not realising that Sai would immediately connect it to her misplaced idea of his 'pyaarosti', because all his actions only reinforce his miscommunicated feelings for Vahini.

Virat sir can't handle Sai's chuppi...there r three instances to prove...

1st when he advices Sai not to drink thanda paani and ghile balon ke saath ghuma mat karo...she readily agrees...he is not able to digest that..

2nd when they fight and Sai sleeps in Usha maushi's room, he feels alone and the silence in the room unhe kaatne ko daudta hai..

3rd when Sai tries to give silent treatment Amay ke case mein..woh uske paas ja ja ke poke karte hain.. because jhagda hi sahi he wants to talk to her..

So basically Virat sir is incomplete without his badbad devi...

Exactly. Also after the puja, her hospital visit and the discussion earlier night, atleast Aniket's chapter was closed and he could see her care too. (Amey ka chapter is not closed however)

So now he took it for granted and okay trip with Pakhi without giving Sai a second thought. Will he be okay with Sai going on a harmless overnight trip with her friends? He told her not to participate in dance competition out of jealousy without sparing a second thought of what his trip with Pakhi will come across to his wife, deal or no deal, she deserves the respect of wife.

Why couldn't he say I will take the letter with me and go to Ladakh, it will be super cold in February. Let Pakhi go some other location with her friends or family.

Why does he need to give her Shadi ke baad ki khushiyaan, what does kaku expect here from Virat? Or what did Virat understand here? He is not dumb, but he pretends not to understand to avoid confrontations.

Why does he need to prove his love for Jeeva or his family members in comparison to what he does with wife? Why does he not get offended by how his wife was treated or mom was treated? Does he not understand? Even the earlier night when Sai says about taana, he is like why will you care, poor them.

I was like bhai tu Pakhi didi jaise koi alag ki duniya me rehta hai, where there is world peace and no nuclear weapons and everyone lives in harmony.
