In amey episode ,yes he was upset bcoz of her plan and jelousy ( I won't say only jelousy, bcoz if we look practically it's a dangerous plan ) so his anger ,concern everything overtook and both of them said some wrong words to eachother.... In Alta episode, yes virat's dialogue are not supposed to be said but his anger is not completely wrong, according to me he is not anger bcoz he didn't put Alta, he was angry why sai created a scene for such a small issue.... As per him he want to let small things go for big achievement ( peace of mind, good time for study, spend time). So I don't think he will shout... When coming to pp virat is guilt sticken because he is main reason for pp condition now( married but husband MIA)... So he had softcorner...it goes over the board some times like 5 days trip which is irritating..

Even I don’t want virat to scream at anyone or Sai dear, then what’s the difference between him and his vile family. The hypocrisy I find in virat is that with everyone else he wants to diffuse the situation to appease them or for the peace of the house whatever, and expects Sai to compromise and bear everything that’s dished out to her. I don’t want him to fight with the gang, hey but just stand up for the wrong that’s happening right in front of your eyes, at least whenever his loved ones, especially his mom is humiliated. Leave being a police officer, how are you even a fair person if you expect one person to put up with everything unfair always, be it his mom or his wife.

I don’t expect him to fight a war for them, but at least let them give a fair chance to fight their own battles instead of just shushing them up in the name of diffusing the situation.

About the expressions, I believe it's not the actors fault. I think the directors want him to give those expressions. The confused, impressed, shocked, amazed or amused type expressions. This is after all close to saas bahu drama. 😆

I would say this is full-on saas bahu drama, maybe kaku in this case. Maybe you are right, but most of the time his expressions are so hard to read.

Chalo virat humesha ki tarah galat or biased tha , lekin jab virat ne usse pucha phir bhi poori baat sai be nhi batayi aur baat palat di ki maine to alta lagaya tha .

Naturally virat ki galti thi as vo police mein hain aur police humesha der se pahunchti hain.

Sorry but truth is if he saw the part where they were manhandling sai in alta track, even then his reaction would be very very lenient compared to if he reprimanded sai. Proof of this is his non-reaction and not reprimanding pakhi for constantly trying to taunt and insult sai alongside family or when right in front of him she grabbed sai's hand when sai was leaving by claiming sai insulted her even though virat knows sai said nothing insulting to oversensitive pattarlekha. Second proof is how despite him having seen for his own eyes that his family were making sai grind chilli and taunting her into grinding chilli despite her finger being cut he was again really lenient with his family.

He has no qualms shouting at sai when he thinks she is wrong but when he sees the outright misdeeds pakhi and his family commit against sai he somehow finds himself unable to raise his voice at them. Chodo he uses the respecting elders excuse with his family, but what about pakhi? Pakhi can taunt and insult sai right in front of him and even start the taunting, but dare sai say anything back to pakhi deservedly that is anything short of respectful then he reprimands sai only in front of pakhi. Too many instances have been shown of virat's unfair double standard behaviour between sai and his family-pakhi to be able to defend him there.

And in alta track the only complaint against virat of everyone on the forum has been him getting so worked up over sai refusing to put on alta that he actually supported his family in putting alta on sai forcefully even if she doesn't want to, which is not acceptable at all and especially him expecting her to wear it when he has said their shaadi is a shaadi where she can't expect anything from him yet somehow he can expect so much from her.

Hi Sammy, how’s it going.. Don’t know if you remember me, but we were in the same forum few years back - a show with ML as IPS officer too...

I always liked your posts there and here too I enjoy reading them. So happy writing...

Thank you for the beautiful message!

I hope you are staying safe and healthy as well. I agree, I’m glad the forum exists with such active members as being here, reading everyone’s posts and writing makes my day!

I havnt watched the episode but the makers want to make Sai the ultimate superhero. A woman who everyone dislikes and has so many hardships her way but she still fights and battles it all along wo breaking and still chirpy and jolly doing everything for everyone. No matter what the male lead is like, she still will love him and do anything for him. The woman character is amazing bc women are strong and amazing but i don’t get why they have to show them taking anyone’s bs in the name of family, love or anything. Sai could still be a bright young student and accomplish great deeds as herself wo the need for the family to be there .. but yet this is an Indian tv show and I always have to shut off my brain before watching lol

Pakhi angle is very irritating for me and it boils my blood .. the devar Bhabhi angle is disgusting and sometimes even the characters overdo it (I heard Sai asked Virat to give red rose to Pakhi 🤢)

It’s Indian TV show, anything less than a superhero FL is unacceptable, that’s the brutal truth. She can become a doctor, engineer, teacher, lawyer when a situation demands, even if her education has nothing to do with any of the above professions or even if she is uneducated. Although when it comes to standing up against the unfairness or the abuse that happens to her everyday, she becomes meeker than a mouse. Indian viewers may claim to be progressive, they might even keep cribbing about the sass-Bahu drama, but when it comes to the FL they will never accept anything less than a sacrificial lamb.

Bold - Sai can be all the things you said, but how will the ITV be able to portray a FL who in spite of being so subservient still achieved so much in her life. She may be intelligent, she may be strong, she may even have the characteristics of mother Teresa, but tomorrow if she is shown as having even a slightest self interest or for that matter shows even a slightest crush in any decent guy (which is actually normal in this age), she will be proclaimed characterless.

Honestly in my opinion ITV is still decades behind when it comes to the portrayal of a FL. There are norms that will never be broken. There are some things ITV makers will never have the guts to show a FL doing - dumping a ML for good even when her character is questioned; a FL showing a genuine love interest in another man, even if the ML is a MCP; or for that matter even allow the FL even a single blip in her character, because anything less than purer than milk is unacceptable. As for Sai’s character, no girl has to bear this much torture for a guy, even if he loves her. Neither can any girl be this chirpy all the time.

These ITV shows and the namesake creative people are still stuck in the Stone Age. Just watch each show at your own health risk, but even by mistake don’t try to find logic or relate it to real life.

I am not a fan of Neil Bhatt but I liked him in Gulal. He was raw then still I liked him for being a natural actor.

Here in this show I consider Neil as the biggest asset for the show as a male lead with such a complex personality. Most of the time Virat won’t express through words but convey through eyes only and Neil scores ten on ten here. He is awesome. His eyes speak what he wants to. I can’t imagine any other actor in this role.

I have problem with Virat but not with Neil. He is a perfectionist in every way. The surprise packet is Ayesha who bowled me over by her great performance as Sai. I turned out to be a big admirer of Ayesha and Sai Joshi.

Compared to both these, the third angle is having limited expressions with little ability to depict emotions. No offence meant.
