SaiRat SS: It’s Complicated
Prologue
It was around 2AM at night. All the members of Chavan Nivas were fast asleep. Virat and Sai had finally slept around 1AM after an absolute childish fight over Aniket.
Virat’s phone rang.
“Hello” Virat picked up the phone in a sleepy voice.
“Sorry to disturb you this late sir. Par Samrat sir ka pata lag chuka hai aur humne unhe City Hospital mein admit kiya hai.” Said his Hawaldar.
“Kya? Mai abhi aata hoon.” Virat jumped out of his bed happily.
How much he had waited for this day. He had so much to talk to his brother. He felt alone sometimes. He had realised a lot of things and was apologetic for a lot of things.
He quickly went to the other side and woke up Sai.
“Kya chaiye ab aapko?” Sai asked sleepily
“Sai! Jeeva mil gaya.” Virat had tears in his eyes
“Kya? Samrat dada?” Sai woke up and confirmed
He nodded and hugged her tightly.
“Vo city hospital mein admitted hai abhi. Sai... sab theek hoga na?” He asked waiting for reassurance
“Sab theek hoga. Mai apke saath chalti hoon.” Sai said trying to get up
“Nahi Sai. Tum yahaan raho. Kuch hoga toh mai tumhe phone karunga. Koi family ke saath bhi toh hona chaiye na.” He cupped her face
“Ok Virat sir. Aap jaiye. Phone karna” she smiled back at him.
Virat left the room happy. Somehow Sai telling him everything will be alright made him believe nothing can go wrong. With a lot of hopes, Virat made his way to city hospital.
