Bhavani an utter failure when it comes to her own child!

Today we have seen how Ashwini was trying to feed Devyani while the biological mother was busy punishing one girl making her do sit-ups and scheming against another girl with 'chaiwali' whose husbands are anyway not her sons. Even Samrat husband of 'chaiwali' is not Bhavani's son.

This woman is always so desperate to control everyone and everything in the family and this shifts the focus on to her insecurities. She has lost her husband and has no male child, of course this is not at all an issue if we think in general but for a person like her with a regressive mindset it is a big deal!

Bhavani enjoys the privilege of being the eldest bahu of Chavan house. Her biggest enemy Ashwini (before Sai's entry), bore a male child and Bhavani herself has no son and lost her husband as well perhaps when she was quite young and this would have been a big shock for her. Sonali too has a male child of her own and Bhavani's only daughter has become mentally unstable making her insecurities even more stronger.

Bhavani utterly failed in case of her own child but is always busy riding over other's son & DIL. I think she does this to ensure herself her position in the Chavan family.

Bhavani is a calculative shrewd woman who knows that she has no other chip to play other that the mahaanta of her late husband. I have no idea why the others in the family listen to her. Ashwini has no say because her husbani is Bhawani/Bhawini chamcha. Sonali coming from a rich, influential family shouldn't be listening to her. Also, Omi seems to be a businessman. Unless, Bhawani comes from a powerful family that backs her. That could make sense given her lifestyle, dressing and casteism. I wouldn't be surprised if she one day decides that she hates her daughter for being tanned or some similar illogical reason.

So far, Chavan wealth makes no sense. Neither does Bhawini power in the house. But she should be thankful that Ashwini hasn't revolted.

Delusional aurat hain ...she seems like she has many layers though. Maybe she was once very nice but turned that way bc of something .. they need to do more character building of everyone. Right now its all a screaming match.

Bhavani gives more importance to her prestige and is more worried about what people would think about her than her daughter's well-being. In the Tamil version, one of the college professors is connected to the Chavan family. He was in love with Devyani. But Bhavini has done something to separate them.
