Got a doubt - New here

Hi all,

I have been watching this series in hindi since sairat marriage.

I have watched other versions of this show in tamil but way long bck.

But in hindi version i have a doubt.

Mansi is sister of ninad it means she is of another family. so Basically chavan is not samrat's surname right?

So Pakhi is exactly not a chavan bahu.. she has to stay here because mansi has lost her husband and staying in chavan's house.

So sai and karishma are the only bahus of chavan parivaar right? or is it different in north?

Everything you said is right. I don't know why Mansi stays here, but yes Samrat has a different last name. Sai and Karishma are only 2 Chavan bahus.

Mansi had abusive in laws , who started troubling her once her husband died, so she shifted to her materal house with samrat.

Mansi is not dependent on kaku mast gang , she lives on her husband pension & samrat's earning .

Technically she is not chavan bahu but since she thinks virat is her imaginary husband she keeps referring herself as chavan khandaan ki bahu

Okay.. Now it makes sense! I believe I heard a dialogue that they want Pakhi back because with her comes the pension money. I didn't watch the early episodes to put all of the things together.

great that she is not part of this family directly. Sai gets this treatment from the family partly because of pakhi plays the adarsh bahu types. Pakhi behaves sometimes like she is badi bahu of this family and is taunting sai too much these days!!

Samrath's surname is salunkhe.....they stay in chavan house bcoz mansi is a widow....pakhi being samrath's wife is not a chavan bahu but a salunkhe....

Isnt it against the "ideals" and "rules" of this "mahaan"chavan family for the ghar ki beti's- shivani and mansi to be living with them. Even if their husbands are divorced/dead they no longer should have ties with their "maayka" haina. BK would have kicked them out if they were using chawan money for their expenses. I think she tolerates them because probably shivani gets alimony ke paise and mansi gets pension money which are also used to run the household! they have not shown this BK actually having any "love" for anyone. She just wants to be the most important person and everyone to be her chamcha.
