A/N: This is mainly about Virat and how he feels. My FS is I guess more focused upon Virat right?😆Now I hope this was a good attempt in showing friendship

Part 3

Virat had dropped Sai at her college but then he realized that it was way too early for him to go for his duty. And he obviously cannot go back home considering the fact that now only there was a huge commotion there and he didn't want to have any more such problems for now. He needed to clear off his mind before facing his family hence he needed time. Hence he thought of going for a long drive thinking that it might clear his mind off.

'How can they even do something like this? It still feels unreal. I know Sai will never say a lie but I know they are my family. Has Sai misunderstood them? But then they did force her into doing something she didn't want to do then they also didn't let her go even though she was hurt. What is true and what is a lie. I am so conflicted. I am not able to think properly. I need someone's advice. But I cannot ask it from anyone of the family and it won't be good to ask Sunny. Whom should I ask?' Virat was not in the right frame of mind.

In one hand there was Sai who was brutally honest and doesn't lie to manipulate facts and on the other hand, was his family whom he knew from childhood and whom he blindly trusts. What was the truth? Virat desperately needed someone's advice until his eyes fell over his watch which he was wearing,

'How can I forget her? The one who has always given me advice whenever I needed it. Only she can help me now.'

Thinking this Virat parked his car on one side of the road which wasn't much crowded owing to the fact that it was almost 11 and everyone was in their offices by now. He dialled a number on his mobile and waited for someone to receive his call.

"Hello? Who is this?" A voice asked from the other side.

'She is still the same. Never sees the caller ID.' Virat thought fondly as he spoke up, "Aru?"

"Vira....wait a minute. Hold the line please." The person from the other side said frantically.

"Oh my God! The ACP Virat Chavan has called me! Me? An insignificant mere mortal? I hope I am not dreaming right now. Like the ACP Virat Chavan has called me? I am honoured. Highly honoured!" The person on the other side spoke out dramatically.

Virat rolled his eyes at her dramatic nature, "Arushi..." He started.

"Oh my God, he even remembers my name? Tell me, Lord, I am not dreaming. My so-called best friend who never calls me except when he needs me knows my name?" Arushi continued her drama

"Arushi yaar cant you be serious?" Virat asked frustratedly.

"Okay okay, I will be serious now. Hearing your voice it sounds like you are tensed. What happened Virat? Any problem?" Arushi asked now with seriousness

. Then Virat narrated the whole ordeal from time of Sai's admission which Bhavani opposed to today's scene. "...and now I am confused about what is right and what is wrong. My conscience isn't working."

"Hmm...Virat yaar, see, I don't know whom you married. I don't know what reason you had. The day you married you just informed me about the same but didn't tell me what was the reason behind it. I still hope you can tell me once that what was that which compelled you to marry such a young girl. But anyways that is something we can discuss afterwards. Now answer my questions as an ACP that is the situation right or wrong with reason, okay?" Arushi asked him.

"Okay. Ask me."

"There is a family of four. The parents and the daughter and son. Now the parents made the son educated and also got him posted in a very good job. But for the girl they didn't allow her to study after her 12th exams and told her to sit at home and learn household chores. Now tell me, Mr ACP, what will you do in this situation?"

"Of course this is wrong. This is insane. How can someone show inequality between male and female in this era? People need to know that be it a girl or a boy everyone has a right to education and no one can force them to not get it. How can people be so regressive in these days." Virat replied not thinking much about her words.

"Hmm... okay second situation. There is an occasion happening in a family and hence everyone is working for the same. But there is one person of the family who isn't like by the majority of the family. This person needs to somewhere and it is very important. This occasion can happen once again but this work of this person will only happen once. If they miss it then they won't have it back. But these members of this person's family still force this member to help them in this occasion preparations even though it could have been smoothly managed by them without that person's help. So tell me what will you say about this?"

"This is wrong. They should understand that person's work is also important. Yes, that occasion might be needed but they are there right to do all the things then why force that person to help them. This is plain harassing. This is absolutely wrong. And no one is to be forced to do something they don't want to do. This isn't right." Virat replied unknowingly.

"See, you have your answers Virat!" Arushi replied.

Virat was confused, "Answers? How..." Then it struck him what she had asked and what he had answered. "You are right!"

"I am always right but that is not the point right now. The thing is Virat as an ACP you see this wrong and you see this as something which is against law. But as Virat you became weak. You felt conflicted. Virat I know they are family but you know just because they are family that never means they can't be wrong. They can be wrong very wrong. Hence you getting weak thinking they are family hence they aren't wrong is stupidity. Virat I know its hard to think wrong about our family but yaar you as someone who has seen so many criminals should be knowing that even criminals have families. But still, they do crimes right? Still, they do things which are wrong. The most loving families also are like this. And Virat I wish to say something but I don't know how you will take it." Arushi said.

"What Arushi?" Virat asked trying to let her words sink in.

"I know what I will say might hurt you or you might feel bad. But Virat, if Sai wants then you should let her do something. With such mental and physical stress from your family she does have a right to complain about this to the police which is you!" Arushi replied slightly nervous about Virat's reaction

"Arushi!" Virat whispered yelled.

"I know you will get angry but this is what is right. Virat, tell me as an ACP if this happened with someone else then you would have registered the complaint right? You would have punished the guilty right?" Arushi asked.

"Yes, Arushi but..." Virat replied.

"But nothing Virat! If it is wrong for anyone then how can rules change for Chavan family? Just because their one son is an ACP? Don't Virat! Don't let your emotions cloud your conscience. I am telling you what they have done is offensive by the eyes of the law and as someone who protects law you need to give Sai the right to give them punishment. And I would say if she disagrees then you should still encourage her to give the complaint. I know I am sounding heartless to you right now Virat but as a well-wisher of yours, I don't want you to let your emotions take over your rational thinking. Think about what I said. And yes I will be calling you tonight Wait for my call, okay? Now talk to you later and take care." With that Arushi cut the call.

Arushi ki jai ho! She has been able to demonstrate that his family is malicious snd their deeds nred yo be condemned and punished.

I am liking this Arushi character. Hope she is the link that brings SaiRat together. She is the one that opens Virat's eyes to see the reality. Amazing job penning this story.
