Promo vs Reality

The promos before the show started showed that Sai and Virat are stuck in an unhappy "marriage". She was still angry with Virat for her father's death and even the mangalsutra throwing sequence made me think that we'll be in for some serious torture.

But the reality played out quite differently, didn't it? Yes, majboori ke karan they got married but instead of complete unhappiness, they have quite a friendly vibe going on, don't they? Even Sai blaming Virat lasted for exactly three episodes- the day Kamal died, the day of his cremation and the day Gadchiroli gang was asking her to get married to Virat.

I am not going to lie, I much prefer this route than just total misery and angst which the promos showcased. This way there's sort of a detached attachment. They know the circumstances, they're not happy about it but have decided to make the best of it. Seems more realistic this way and spares us all the dhoom tana dhoom tana- unnecessary misunderstandings and melodrama. Sai and Virat will become friends sooner than expected and if today's episode is anything to go by, we're in for some serious fun!!

They did a good job toning it down. These two are grown ups and i'm glad they are acting like one😆

My mom was watching this show and there the guy married the girl without her will, took her to his home and then forbid her to come to his room because he cannot accept this marriage. Bhai watching this humse nahi hoga🤣🤣

Promos are to grab eyeballs. They aren’t true per say. I’m enjoying this show very much. This is how adults deal with things if things are beyond help.

You make the best of it. I’m liking it very much. There will lots of drama but mostly from outside as in Kaku and gang. SaiRat will be not so dramatic all the time. Of course, there will be things to spice it up and keep the viewership.
