As per the whole, the show has been clear about it being a love triangle from day one, and for ITV it is surprising that they are sticking to it.

Virat has never taken Pakhi's side over Sai so far and that is the crux of the situation. He stops Sai when she is crossing a limit yet has never run after Pakhi if Sai is there in the situation.

Fair point. Might have gotten a tad emotional about the lack of support system the storyline has given this chokra! I'm sorta not well-crafted to deal with iTV shows :)

Makes me go back to the morning scene where in my view by refusing both sides, he made the best decision ever. Maybe locking his door the next time he has a dilemma and keeping both ladies away from the matter might help him keep his cool and think rationally as an IPS officer 😆

Don't I know it. ITV in general is not big on giving their characters layers and if they do give them layers they do a crappy job of showing it. That is why I only watch one show at a time on ITV and I expect the least amount of logic, therefore. Keeping the expectations low really helps. So far this show has been very subtle about the progressive messaging. The ML other than the stupid promise made to Paakhi seems quite a reasonable man.

The morning was great. He cleared his stance to both of them that he will not be taking sides, yet he did stop Pakhi from serving breakfast to his father so that Sai can do it instead. He is making it clear as per the family and world are concerned Sai gets the first right and when it comes to him, he will not choose. It was a loud and clear message to both the ladies.

But the point here is that Viraat is human. From his POV he has not done something wrong. The thing that Pakhi did right was that she noticed that this kind of behavior is out of character for Viraat which means something is really wrong.

Whereas Sai could not see past her issues and blasted on Viraat. He always asks her nicely first. This time also he asked her to leave him alone for a bit. For a man who had stood up against a family that he loves very much for her Sai needs to be a little bit more considerate of Viraat. Viraat would have told her what is wrong had Sai not brought up Pakhi at the first chance which she always does.

Lock or no lock, Sai needs to stop giving Paakhi importance and Viraat eventually will have no reason to side with Paakhi. He always takes Sai's side anyways.
