Even before Virat asked Pakhi to sacrifice and marry his brother, Pakhi and her family proceeded with Samrat and family's alliance. During their first meeting Pakhi didn't reveal anything to Samrat about her love affair. Instead she remained silent throughout till her Haldi. Wasn't that cheating? She was even asked to back out if she didn't wish to marry but she did not instead gave her consent for the wedding to take place in 3 days. It's not that Samrat and family forced her into this relationship. During her Haldi she saw Virat and then after knowing what happened she wanted to reveal the truth to elders and marry Virat. She would have married Samrat if Virat didn't appear before her but since she met Virat she wanted to proceed with him. Clearly we can see nothing but selfishness!
She had a reason to stay mum earlier I believe.
As soon as she learnt the truth she wanted to not go ahead with the wedding which is the right thing to do.
Who knows if Virat showed the guts to admit the truth to his family members, the situation would have been lot more different.
And also what kind of love is that!? In scenario 1 she was in love with Virat. In scenario 2 she couldn't trust Virat and blocked his number. This meant she no longer wished to be in contact with him. Love disappeared here. Trust is nowhere to be seen. In Scenario 3 she moved on to marry Samrat but didn't reveal any of the details from her past affair. In scenario 4 she confronted Virat, got to know what happened and wanted to break the marriage alliance with Samrat and marry Virat. In scenario 5 she married Samrat, entered as Samrat's wife and took promise from Virat that he wouldn't see any other girl all his life.
I haven't watched all the episodes so wasn't aware of the last part here. That's truly a case of twisted writing.
The serial's concept is that Paakhi would create problematic situations for Sai and Virat (as was also the case in the original show) so it's a given that Paakhi here would be the purported "vamp"
I wish that wasn't so though - firstly Paakhi shouldn't have bothered about Virat at all when he was so easily and conveniently willing to let her go (would he have maintained silence on their "relationship" if Paakhi was getting married to someone else and not his brother? I highly doubt so) Secondly she should have simply backed out of wedding when she was clearly not ready to go ahead with it. But then again without that happening the story wouldn't be what it is going to be 😆
I really like Sai and Virat, and the show as a whole is quite decent and watchable too so far now. I just hope they have a interesting storyline for Paakhi as well. She isn't all so bad or selfish. Infact, both Paakhi and Sai seem to have that strength of character to stand by for what they believe is right. I would love to see their equation in a different light rather than them being shown as "sautans".
It's not that she's in love with Virat throughout right from their first meeting. Her feelings kept changing.
Also we all agree with the point that Virat was stupid enough to request Pakhi to marry his brother despite knowing it's only an arranged marriage setting and he will always be criticized for that. Leave Pakhi he has ruined his brother Samrat's life, by taking this decision, who has nothing to do with and was unaware of all this nonsense.
Thanks, am glad we agree on this.
