Jassi gives Shayantani competition

Ek Se Badhkar Ek has reached a stage wherein each week every individual wants to perform something innovative and also try to look very different from what they have been appearing in the past episodes. This week sudden competition has cropped up between the two dancing queens, Jasveer and Shayantani.
In the course of presenting something different, both of them have started wearing minimal attires. Earlier it was only the Naaginn Shayantani who insisted on wearing revealing clothes. Taking a leaf from her book actress Jasveer Kaur aka Pavitra decided to shed all her inhibitions and don the sexy chick avtaar. So, Ms Kaur decided to wear this dangerously low cut top to look appealing and sexy. Infact she insisted the designer to make it even low. However her dressing didn't go down too well with the creative team of Zee TV. After all Ek Se Badkar Ek is a family show. So after lot of thinking a similar colour neck patch was used to cover the same.

Though not too happy with the decision, Jassi had no option but to bow down to the demands of the channel. When contacted Jasveer said, "I wanted to wear something that goes with my performance but if the creative team has issues with it then that is there problem. I have a certain image and it's difficult for me to break that and step into something that is not Jasveer."

Adding to the buzz in the show, the grapevine now suggests that Abhishek Awasthi who was earlier voted out will now be making a wild card entry into the show again along with a new partner Meenal Jain. The other two jodis making a wild card entry are Mussarat Abbas (of Saregamapa Challenge 2007 fame) and Sanober Kabir and Aishwarya and Aanchal Dwivedi.

This week stars Manoj Bajpayee, Ganesh Acharya and Hansika Motwani to promote their forth coming movie, Money hai toh Honey hai will be the special guests on the show.

Jassi Kaur is thrilled about her two-day holiday in Goa with hubby Aziz.

"This was the first time in four years that the two of us were going out on a holiday all alone. Till now it's either been with family or friends, never just the two of us."

The couple had a blast and a well-deserved one. "I've had a very hectic schedule past few months. Aziz too has been busy with his film. We were waiting to take this break," she says.
On the work front, Jassi's role in Betiyaan... continues to be as negative as always. "I can't expect this role to turn positive," she says, "But yes, I'd like to take up some positive role in another show."
Jassi in recent times has been seen doing many reality shows. She was first seen in Mr & Ms TV some time ago.

Currently she's doing Ek Se Badhkar Ek and will soon get busy with Saas Vs Bahu on SaharaOne. "The one show I've always wanted to do is Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, but that's not come my way yet," she says. What does she have to say about the drama that goes on in reality shows most of which are said to be staged? "I don't know how much of that is true. But as far as I am concerned, I have never been part of any natak."

Jassi, who's known for her dancing skills, recently shot with Saroj Khan for NDTV Imagine's Aaja Nachle, where she was given the Natraj trophy by the ace choreographer. Naturally, it was a big moment for the actress. "To dance in front of Sarojji was a big thing for me. Besides, I was dancing to her choreography. And I got a ten on ten! I was so excited!"

Jasveer Kaur enjoys dancing

Jasveer Kaur who plays Pavitra in Ghar Ki Laxmi Betiyaan, has reached the top three of a dance reality show Ek Se Badhkar Ek with Abhishek Awasthi and Kushal Punjabi. But even before this show ends Jasveer has already taken a new reality show Saas Vs Bahu. Jasveer told us about both her reality shows and about her daily soap too.

Talking about her dance reality shows, she says: "Dance was always my priority. In fact I wanted to become a dancer and joined the industry only because of that. Now also I just want to go with the flow. My daily soap Betiyaan is also doing well. I will always be known for this show. I am not going leave this show.

"But dance is my first love. I am enjoying Ek Se Bhadkar Ek. I have reached the top three so I think it is a very good opportunity for me to showcase my talent. These reality shows gives us a chance to show our skills which is very important. I am still learning about dance thought I am about to finish one show and start the second."

Jasveer's competitor in Saas Vs Bahu is Vaishnavi, who played her saas in her first show. "We are best friends. Though our show got over two years back we were in touch with each other. We used to hang out together and still go to each other's house. I know she is very talented .On screen we have to show rivalry, but off screen I go to her rehearsals and help her and so does she. It is fun."

She cheekily adds, "Her first performance was so amazing that I was screaming like anything and next day I got tonsil problems too. I had to take treatment for this. I am really very happy for her .It is going to be a good competition because she is very good."

Jasveer is pregnant right now in Betiyaan and her husband is not aware about it. She wants this child to have the property.

Jasveer Kaur and Raja Hassan win Ek Se Badkar Ek

Another reality showcase comes to an end. The Grande finale of Zee TV's Ek Se Badkar Ek did generate some amount of hype because of the presence of Pakistani cricketer, Shoiab Akhtar, who is now attempting to make forays into Bollywood.

The final was between the pair of Kushal Punjabi-Sanchita and Jasveer Kaur and her partner Raja Hasan. And, though the competition was stiff, Jasveer and Raja proved to be a better penny.

A close source says, "Both the teams did give it their best shot, but there was no doubt that the icing on the cake was Raja's performance. But the cream was Sohaib's presence who is a huge Bollywood fan and loves to croon to Kishore Kumar's songs and shakes a mean leg to a beat".

Both the winners remained unavailable for comment till the point this story was filed.

Replacing the show is 'Chota Packet Bada Dhamaaal. The show will have the same concept of an actor coupled with a singer, but the contestants here will be kids.
