During a hindu wedding, after the haldi ceremony, they dont send the bride outside, other than the wedding venue. Couldnt the garodias afford an onsite beautician rather than sending Niyati to a beauty parlour? Was this done, so that they can show Kajri trying to kidnap Niyati?

Well I don't know about South Indian weddings, but I'm North Indian, and all of my cousins that go married went to a parlour to get ready after the haldi ceremony.

Many reached the wedding venue directly from the parlour

So it's not really a blooper.

Yuks

but in bengalee marriages we r not allowed to move out of our homes after the haldi ceremony!!!!...maybe here, and there, but definitely not to a parlour!!!

i think it's b'se of our place of existence!!!!...north and south indians do go to a parlour and west and east indians don't..... simple!!!!

People are not very superstitious anymore about it....most people in Canada have the beautician come to their house and get them ready....in India they actually go to the Beauty Parlour down in the
morning and then go to the Mandir/Temple etc from there.

It has nothing to do with north indian , or south indian. It is purely a matter of money , choice , and convenience . Depending on circumstances , sometimes beautician is called at home , sometimes directly at the marraige hall where a small room is alloted for dressing up or sumtimes , bride goes to beauty parlour , although , rarely alone as such . So its not a blooper . Both things r possible and practical.
