Lakshmi's Speech on Forgiveness--ha ha

Of all the hypocracies and there are many in this show, Lakshmi decided to put on yet another diatribe. This time, she lectured her father on FORGIVENESS. That he should forgive the son who had abandoned him, was not by his side at the hospital, and cheated the family of their home. Just fantastic, Lakshmi. Just fantastic. Has she completely lost it and is just taking out her anger and PRINCIPLE on Karan?

Let me tell you, if I were Karan and I helped and repented enough, I would say sayonara. If she won't fight for their love, but will fight for Menka and Yuvraj, then Karan deserves much better.

I also hope the creatives go in this direction: that Lakshmi ON HER OWN realizes her mistakes/hypocrosy and tells Karan she wants the marriage and him. But alas that would require a bit of humanity and humility, neither of which the egotistical witch has.

Yes I saw the episode and Laxmi giving lecture on forgiveness. I was like why don't you forgive Karan? and if I am not mistaken she said Yuvraj had repented enough so Surya sud forgive him. I think Karan has repented more then Surya. Garodia parivaar must have depend on either god or police to find Surya. Karan was the only one who went out in search of Surya.
So I hope Laxmi realizes it.

Lakshmi can be stupid and guess what, she is! She is discriminating against Karan because he thought that Suryakant was responsible for his mother's woes, whereas Yuvraj brought a WHORE to the house as a bahu and nothing said there. JUST FORGIVE!!!

I too thought the same when i watched yesterday's episode. Her speech on forgiveness was totally not what she believes in.. cuz if she did then she would have forgiven Karan, after his countless attempts to seek for forgiveness and esp after what went down in Mumbai.

Whatever karan did ..he did without knowing the truth....she would have done the same thing if something happens to her family.....what rubbish...he has suffered enough......WHAT IS SHE DOING NOW??
Very irritating character.....her character does not have the qualitites to be in a lead role of a soap....stupid character...I wish saraswati was in the lead role...I find her very sweet...
Even in real life..twinkle is very adament and aarogant I have heard...

completly agree... da show should get a new angle karan and lakshmi's relationship, it'll b alot more entertaining... i m sick of karan begging for forgiveness nd lakshmi giving him the cold shoulder... it should b da other way around, especially after all dat karan did for her

I am completely fine with your opinion and your right to express it. But what you have to understand is that there are many people on this site who have opinions too and strong ones at that. We criticize because some things are stupid, unfair, monotonous, or absurd. We watch GKLB four times a week and are interested about the premise of the show. However, when stories are dragged, characters behaving like idiots, and situations that are wrong or incredible, we call it out for what it is. We hope the writers are reading this.

Plus, what's happening in GKLB is just damn crazy 😕 sometimes. And why should we sit in front of the TV like zombies, liking everything shoved our way? If I don't do this in real life, then why would I do that on this site as I share my opinion and read those of others.
No offense meant--just wanted to you to understand where I, and others like me, are coming from. 😃
