Jasveer Kaur, who essays negative characters in both Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan and Maayka, says she is fed up of playing the vamp following continuous public harassment.
"I get a lot of negative feedback from fans especially young ladies who advice me saying - don't trouble Mahi and that I won't get Shabd (Vivaan Bathena). Tum toh dosri aurat ho..tumhe koi haq nahi Mahi ke zindagi ke saath khilwad karne ki…and stuff like that," says the irritated actress.
Narrating an embarrassing experience, she says, "While shopping at a mall, an aged lady came to me and asked - tum Pavitra ho naa? tumhari sachai Yuvraj ke samne kab aayegi? That's not all. Even the shopkeepers ask me such questions. I feel really embarrassed though as an actor it means that my acting has been appreciated."
Jasveer also revealed that her character in Maayka will come to an end by the first week of March. About the plot, she says, "Shabd will come to know about my fake pregnancy and ask me to get out of her life. That's how my role will end."
She adds, "At the moment I'm happy playing Pavitra but after this I want to play a positive role which will help me grow as an actor."
This Punjabi kudi has also acted with noted South superstar Mamootty a tamil film Katha Parayumbol.
Jasveer, hope there's a 'positive' change in your career soon.
