A marriage scene for the serial demanded that the actor be slapped by Ayub Khan. Yuvraj would have none of it. When the production house's repeated requests failed to convince the actor, they had no choice but to sack him. Deepak Agarwal, the producer of the show confirmed the incident. "The scene demanded that an angry Ayub slap Yuvraj. Yuvraj refused to give in, stating that it might adversely affect his image and status given that he was playing the lead character in another show, Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. Ayub Khan The creative head and others from the production house tried to reason with him but to no avail. He paid no heed to their requests, and so we decided to scrap his character altogether," he said. Earlier, the actor had been tagged 'stubborn' by his colleagues on the sets of Rakhi. Agarwal added, "We wanted a dash of drama in the scene but couldn't get the visual impact right since Yuvraj declined to shoot for the scene. Moreover, the shooting had to be stalled due to prolonged arguments that continued for over two hours. As an actor, Yuvraj should know that the script demanded the scene. He seems to be very stubborn and the production house is also very angry with him." Yuvraj is probably unaware of the production house's decision about him. When contacted, he slammed the phone down after dropping a few lines: "Nothing of the sort happened. Who told you about this? The script didn't have any slapping scene. I don't know what you are talking about."

Would be interesting to hear from all you Yuvraj fans about this incident.

I am a huge Karan fan; the character is fabulous. Not so the case with Yuvraj and I'll tell you why:

Yes, he does sound a bit full of himself. He's still early in his career; if he wants to go to Bollywood someday (like he hopes to), he better be a bit humble and flexible. It's not good to make enemies so early on and develop a terrible reputation in the industry. If he wants to be a serious and respected actor, he's going to have to obey the director/script.

I find his whole argument about how being "punched" would affect how viewers see him in his other show (GKLB). It's B.S. or he's overthinking. Give us viewers a little credit. We know that "Karan" is a character on GKLB, and is different from "Aditya" in Rakhi.

I'm sorry to say I've noticed a couple of "questionable" things about the Big Y. He lies!!! And it's not even subtle. And he's not smart the way he handles things. Remember his whole about face / denial about ever dating Twinkle. He's the one who said it originally and said he would not comment further. Then a few months go by and he denies ever saying that. I know media makes up quotes but that is NOT what happened here. If something was wrong in the first place, one of them would have denied it or made a fuss about it. Also remember their on-set interaction?
The guy flips flops a lot and sometimes comes off in interviews as rude and self-absorbed. Oh, well, it's still early.

so many rumors so early in a career of acting about arrogance ....not good . he must straighten his act. the reports about his stubbornness keep coming....i hope he understands soon.

Who knows if the story is true (probably 😆 ), but I especially love the part about his being the male lead on GKLB. As much as Karan is a great attraction for viewers, there are other males like Suryakant and Yuvraj who could share that designation.

It's a smack for god's sake, not a total smackdown! Earlier in GKLB, he was hit repeatedly and beaten up badly by Rasili's goonda. He had no problem with that apparently, but now he does?

exactly....he is liked by viewers he shouldnt do all this stuff to make his image go bad!
