Twinkle comes from Lucknow.She was a finalist in saregamapa challenge 2005 and was regarded as the most versatile singer among the girl singers. Her songs such as daiya mai kaha phasi,hungama ho ga ya were outstanding renditions which made her popular. Those songs drew comparisons with the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. Saregamapa challenge 2005 was a very good contest singing wise but was marred with allegations of rigging and manipulation and politics. At a later stage the contestants walked out of the show but were persuaded to stay on. It was also rumoured that another contestant from abroad got the least votes but Twinkle Bajpai was eliminated to save him. Her song in emet competition which she participated later 'hai rama yeh kya hua' showed her classical base and versatility as a singer. She and her partner vishwas won the judges choice award. Twinkle and vishwas hosted the middle east antakshari later in dubai which was successful and she was applauded for her presentation skills. She later sang in the album rasiya saajan composed by Ismail Durbar. Currently, she plays Lakshmi in the Zee TV Serial Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan. She has some play back singing assignments which will be added later.
