~*The Betiyaan Weekly - Aug 17th, 07*~

At Karan's party, the Garodia family learn the disgusting truth behind Pavithra and is shell shocked to hear that Yuvraj was in it with Rasili and Kajri. Suryakant is dissapointed and heartbroken that Yuvraj betrayed him in the worst possible way. When he orders Yuvraj to leaves the house, he begs for forgiveness... but when Yuvraj realised that Suryakant wudn't budge.. he turns the tables on Kajri and blames her for the whole thing and proclaims that he was innocent in all this. That when all hell breaks lose and Kajri exposes Yuvraj's dispicable act of kidnapping himself, and about how he threatend Khstij to lie in court. Suryakant then announces that his son is dead for him and when he dies his daughters will light the pyre during the funeral and not his son. He tells the family that his decision is final and then kicks both Yuvraj and Kajri out of the house. Outside Yuvraj thinks that he has to think of something fast, in order to win his dad's trust in him and to somehow find a way to get back into the house. Suryakant is heartbroken about all this and realises that he was so unfair to his girls, and always put Yuvraj ahead of them. He hugs his daughters telling them that he wants to repent for all the wrong he has done to them. Baa too realises that she was equally wrong in treating the girls and Savitri, the way she did and asks for forgiveness. Menka is upset that Suryakant insulted her in front of the whole family and wants to leave the house. Rasik vows to her that he will figure a way out to get things back to normal for her, and advises her against leaving the house. Yuvraj stands outside the house in the rain making the family feel bad for him, but Suryakant is unmoved by all this and orders him to stop his drama and go away from there. When Yuvraj realises that he has to do something drastic to make Suryakant change his mind.. he picks up the grass cutter and slits his wrist.
