Bhavishya was always a psychopath. He was suggested as a match for Saraswati by Menka who wanted to get rid of the Betiyaan by getting them married in a rush so that all of the Garodia property could stay under her son's name and Betiyaan would not have a share.After marriage, Saraswati was a target of Bhavishya's lunatic behavior. He would abuse her both physically and mentally. Bhavishya also had a terrible past. Before marrying Saraswati, he loved a girl named Preeti obsessively. His obsession towards Preeti had gotten to an extent that he could not tolerate Preeti's interaction of any kind with another male. Preeti was uncomfortable of Bhavishya's controlling behavior and on the day of her marriage, told Bhavishya that she is leaving him. This angered Bhavishya and he choked Preeti to death. After Preeti died, Bhavishya did not believe that she was dead and he kept her body in an outhouse. Every night, he would go to the outhouse and interact with her. 🤢
One day, Saraswati became curious of Bhavishya's whereabouts at night and she followed him. She was horrified to find a skeleton dressed in wedding attire on a chair and accidently breaks it. This made Bhavishya furious and he started blaming Saraswati for Preeti's murder. That same night, he sets the outhouse on fire with hopes of getting rid of Saraswati.
