May 28^th 2009 Written Update

Gauri is relieved seeing Devyani who is stunned at all this. After Gauri leaves, Devyani sends Akash's friends away and slaps him hard across his face. Back in the house, Menka is worried if the betiyann will ever forgive Yuv, but Sav assures her that in time they will. Nik and Jhanvi make aaloo parathas together and spend some romantic time in the kitchen on that behalf. Yuv finds his daughter crying and goes to pick her up, but Niy comes there and warns him to stay away from them. Downstairs, while all are chatting, Gauri comes home in tears. All are horrified seeing her in that tattered condition and she tells them what happened. Saras promises to teach Devyani and Akash a lesson for this. Later, when Jhanvi and Nik are on the terrace, he gets call from his bhabhi. He goes aside and takes the call, while Jhanvi looks on confused hearing Nik yelling at the person on the phone that he will never return home. After his call, she asks him to tell her the truth. Finally he reveals that his orthodox minded family is settled in the village and fed up of their backward thinking he left them and settled in the city and built a business of his own. Jhanvi explains to him that they can't start a life w/o his parents' blessing and suggests that they go together to the village and meet his family. He hesitantly agrees after she assures him that despite everything his family will accept him. Yuv comes to Menka and tells her that no one believes he's changed and he truly wants to take care of his family. Menka comforts him that she will find a way for him to help manage the family business. Next morning, Saras and Jhanvi go to Akash's office and gives Devyani a earful. Devyani goes home and explodes on Akash for the mess he's created. She expresses her disappointment in him and adds that this time she'll make sure he repents for his mistake and warns him that if he won't then she will learn to live w/o him, like she did w/o his dad. Later they arrive at the Garodia house. End.
