May 12^th 2009 Written Update

Jhanvi fears that Rasik is back to create trouble for the family, but Nik tries cheering her up and they share some cute romantic moments on the terrace. Menka returns home and lies to everyone that she had gone to the temple. But Saras gets suspicious when she spots dirt and mud on Menka's sari. Next day at work, Gauri goes to Akash's cabin but he isn't there. Seeing the room so messy she decides to clean it up. Akash's mom (Devyani) compliments Gauri for tidying the room. At home, Menka is lost in Yuvraj's thoughts when Saras and Jhanvi come there and tell her that they think she lied abt going to the temple, but menka defends herself and cooks up another lie again. Saras notices Yuvraj's pic on the bed and wonders. She warns Menka to be wary of Rasik and to not fall prey to his evil games. Later, Akash returns to his cabin w/ Tina (the office vamp) and yells at Gauri for misplacing imp papers cuz of her cleaning up. Gauri is hurt by Akash's attitude. Devyani notices her crying at her desk and cheers her up w/ good news that the London clients were very impressed by her work. She assures Gauri that in time she will succeed in impressing Akash too. Kshitij and Nik bring good news that they paid off BC w/ the payments they received for their consignment and acquired the co. back into their name. Menka is irritated by all this. Later all decide to do a pooja to celebrate their success and they notice Menka missing again. Sav goes to look for her and finds her in her room crying for Yuvraj and telling his pic that from hereon she too will eat and live the same way he is living in jail. Sav is stunned to hear this and Menka asks her to let everyone know what she has decided to do. Next morning, Menka goes w/ food for Yuvraj in jail, and Sav follows her. Before she cud get inside, Sav stops her and asks her to not forget what all Yuv has done to them and their family. She tells Menka that she has to support everyone's decision and let Yuv pay for his crimes.
