March 2nd '09 Written Update
All sit around and play with the new baby, when Ras and Kaj come there and order them to get to work instead of wasting time. Just then Shitij comes in and Kaj taunts him that he will not find jobs anywhere since he is a thief. She fires their driver and tells Shitij that he is their new driver now. All look on helplessly when Shitij comes out dressed in the driver's uniform and Kaj orders him to get the car ready. She doesn't leave any stone unturned in humiliating him while Saras and the rest look on in tears. Radha, Bhumi and Jhanvi leave for the village by bus. The bus breaks down on the way. While the bus is being fixed, Jhanvi goes to get some water for them to drink from a well nearby. She is worried seeing a long line of ppl for water there but a lady gives her some water from her pot. Jhanvi thanks her and thru their conversation together, she learns that the lady is the only bread winner in her family. All of a sudden a car comes by in high speed and runs over the woman leaving her bleeding and hurt on the road. Jhanvi is furious seeing the driver just drive away w/o a care and runs after the car. She takes a short cut and manages to get to it. In order to stop the car, she throws a huge stone on it crashing its glass. The car stops and the driver, a rich and arrogant looking guy, gets off. Jhanvi goes off on him for what he did and he yells back at her for ruining his car. He then arrogantly asks her how much money she wants as compensation. Jhanvi looks on disgustedly at him.
