Why does this serial keep glorifying such plain stupidity as ' goodness ' ?

What is so ' good ' about signing away shares of your property ? What is so ' good ' about not being practical ? And what is so good about not learning , come what may , about past experiences and being thickheaded ?

The reason the Betiyaan are shown signing away shares is only to prove how ' good ' they are by the scriptwriters . But who in the world says being plain stupid is the same thing as being good ?

Not one Beti refuses to sign her share and says bluntly .......I'll give it a thought . Right now I am not signing . Or ....Sorry I dont agree , I think I must get a share too . Whats wrong in me getting my share ? Do the scriptwriters know how much the TRP's wud have gone up if even one oddball character had stood out with this dialogue ?

Not one Beti says that sorry , I love my dad but I really never ever agree dwith his viewpoint aout this sole male inheritor business . And just coz i dont sign doesn't mean my love for him has lessened etc . If u feel that way , too bad , but Nope , I won't sign.

Now this dialogue wud have got accolades and they cud have shown that this sister who retains her share supports the other sisters when they r thrown out and gives Yuv a tough fight in the business and outside matters .

The two best characters to take this firm ground were Jhumki and Niyati , who by now , coz of this kaj situation shud have demanded her share as a woman in that house .

Why do they show Savitri and Baa looking proudly when the betiyaan decide to sign away shares as if they r doing some big noble act ? There is nothing noble about being stupid , defenceless , or allowing others to outsmart u each time !

Infact , there r hundreds of uneducated moms in India who will give their silly daughters a blasting by saying..... is this how i raised u , to be this stupid and unfit to survive in this world ? Has God given u these brains to use them and take care of urself or to just rot them ? Ur Dad has gone , its the future that counts ! He never was correct when he was alive too anyways .

Do the scriptwriters ever consider such dialogues for higher TRPs ?

I truly commend you on what you have said 👏 and I agree with you. It's ridiculous the way creatives show characters brainless and that they can't think for themselves and that they need others to think for them. I would have also loved to see one of the Betiyanns take a firm stand and show Yuvraj he's not going to get everything he wants just because his tiny brain tells him it's his right. Creatives could've done so much with the story and point it to a new direction but no they went and take10 steps backwards.

Nice to see you back in the forum... the show has definitely taken yet another turn of stupidity and sometimes I wonder why I am still watching. The has simply turned to a waste of time, with everything going in circles. I guess the only reason the show is still on air is because the channel head is Pearl Shahi, who is the wife of Rajan Shahi, the original creator of the show. Otherwise, I cant think of any other reason someone in their right mind would continue to keep this show on.

I no longer pity the betiyaan, all their problems are only because of their own IDIOTIC and STUPID decisions. Say they did fall for all this, still it would be ok if all their husbands had backbones and had their own houses. But NO, they are going to land up on the streets all because the men prefer residing as ghar jamais in their wives homes.

I still am confused why they question Kajri for her doings, when I never see them complain about Yuvraj. Is it necessary for all the men in this show to be spineless, no brained creatures? I wonder if the scriptwriters are even awake while they write the scripts for this show. Its beyond me why they even bother.

Yes , no one now even pities the betiyaan , the lead heroines , infact Kruthi , I have observed that anyone who watch it say ' They deserve it " in an irritated and rather satisfied tone ................indicating a total failure on part of the creatives if they cannot even evoke sympathy from common viewers for the leads in the show ! Frankly , what kind of a show do they think they are churning out if the viewers actually feel glad that the leads r being punished ??? And mind u , this is public reaction !

Why dont these creatives take a peek from time to time at our forums to gauge the flow of the viewership , the mood of the viewership ? Forums which exist to do marketing of the show and give free ideas for future episodes via feedback .........I believe one of the scriptwriters actually visited our forums long back and had replied when the viewers were rather angry with Laxmi for treating Karan so badly and yet forgiving Yuvraj so readily ! Where r they now ? Do the creatives really have so much money to squander on a worthless show that they dont even check what their scriptwriters are writing ? I never knew it was this easy to be a scriptwriter .............one needs no originality and one can repeat same idea dozen times and yet get paid ! But don't they even wonder where the money goes if the show gets bad TRPs and still runs ???? They hurriedly pull out a Waaris but Betiyaan keeps running ????

Laxmi's hurried marraige to Rohan , no storyline on the Durga track and such immensed stupidity among the females in the show on all levels ........... If the males in this show have a certain stupidity about them , the females are honestly in a class of their own ! What is this.....some stupidity contest show between male characters and female characters in this show ??What thoughts go through the scriptwriters minds when they sit with their pen and a paper , planning the next episode ? I am absolutely zapped by their thought process ! Viewers r actually polling to see if this show shud be cancelled altogether and yet they go on ????

So much potential this show had once , but instead of woman power all they showed was women are absolutely dumb and dont have the capacity to ever think with their heads instead of their hearts even once in their lifetime ! They dont have the capacity to run a business , to demand their rightful share , to assert their individuality and independence , to learn from past mistakes.....they r just dumb beyond repair , bas ! This is the only message this show consistently gave . I hope that Pearl Shahi decides to peek into whats going on and starts talking !

Thanks a ton gingerspice , and There you have put it in a nutshell .............instead of taking this show with such a potential ahead they took it deliberately ten step backwards . It is the scriptwriters who r clearly biased and chauvinistic , their attitude reflects in their scripts . The Betiyaan obey idiotic males like robots , either their dad , or their brother ! They blame Kajri but always forgive their jerk Brother ! They honour the wishes of a chauvinistic dad even after his death ............no capacity ever to think for themselves !

Message of the show : Females are dumb and require males to guide them or lead them or even motivate them . They honestly and truly have no brains , the poor creatures .

i totally agree with u all...the latest girls signing awway their share of property just proves few points..i think the writes of this show does not have new material to show which is why they are keep showing girls being fooled by kajri and keep bringing kajri back in the show....kajri has put them on street once b4 and yuvraj was also involved...WHY why in the world once again betiyaan nd family belive kajri as well as yuvraj once again? not even one of the girls stand up for he rights and say they will not sign nd give everything to yuvraj...i do not understand why creators want to show such a brainless character to the audiance? As Koolsadhu1000 has mentioned if one of the girls would have said they will not sign it wud have been such a big twist...it would have shown to many womens nd girls watchign in India there is nuthing wrong in standing up for yoursef...

many of shows always shows how lead character get fooled by villans nd vams in the show all the time but not once they have showed lead characters lear from their mistakes...

Exactly , and this is what I find most irritating . It is not the job of scriptwriters to irritate the viewers , it is their job to entertain them and to keep them rivetted to the show . But All , and i repeat , literally , all the viewers I encounter are only tremendously bugged with the deliberate stupidity of the betiyaan . Why didnt they show Jhumki at least showing some practical common sense ? The other four are hereditarily brainless , at least she was brought up in a practical atmosphere !

Besides , the most important question that remains unanswered is..........

Why shud the girls not want a share of their own by their own wish ??? Not coz their dad gave them , not coz their brother said ok....just by their own wish ? Why cant it be Yes , I too want a share as I have dreams of my own and it is my ancestral and legal right ? What in the world is wrong with that wish , why is it portrayed as such a sinful wish ?

Sugarnspice , thanks for your opinion . I really wish more join us and express similiarly . Wud love hearing them .

thanks koolsadhu1000...i think u have pointed out a gr8 question...it defi. was and still in some parts of the world that Boy in the family are entitled to family wealth nd property...for many parts of the world it would not be true in today's age because now girls are independent..there might be places where still girls are not given their rights..but i think shows like Betiyaan should show and spread message that there is nothing wrong in thinking about yourself, and your rights...in case of the show the writers never even showed one of them thinking once b4 signing wait a sec..we were thrown out once by kajri nd yuvraj also lied b4..if that happens again..

also creators r missing out many characters...why r we not seeing bettiya's husband, saras's baby? what about satyakam's death...whr is dev? i think they shud have shown dev nd gauri...thr is stuff which is unsolved nd these new stuff is just repeating over nd over...as you have said koolsadhu1000, it does seem more people are getting tired of this storyline nd definatly would be nice to hear more opinions...

Accolades to u guys to take ur time and think abt the ideas. i agree that TRPs would definitely have been higher had at least 1 beti not signed the papers and gave takkar to Yuvraj😡 Also, this is pure bonehededness to glorify transferring the property to 1 member who has already proved his stupidity in the pst by marrying Kaj and Rasilii😉

sandyvrits..........the glorification of the act of giving up ur rights as shown in this serial Betiyaan is really beyond understanding . Why shud rights be given up ? What is so great and noble about not realising the value of ur rights ?

Rights r for exercising them for correct purpose not for abdicating them ! Not for throwing them away . This message is in itself a blot on any society in the world !
